Delightful Stay at The Roseate
Our family had a wonderful stay at The Roseate during our time in Edinburgh. The property is lovely and the staff is amazing. Alexander who managed our reception is first rate and Jason, our server in the restaurant, was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. Everyone was happy to give us recommendations for restaurants and activities, all of which we enjoyed. The hotel itself is out of the hustle and bustle of the old town, but it’s just a few quick stops on the bus or tram from Waverly station.

Perfect stay - highly recommended!
This was one of the most amazing stays at a hotel I've ever experienced. The staff went above and beyond with every step. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- and our server Jason was so friendly. Every recommendation we received from the staff was spot on. The rooms were very clean, albeit a bit cozy but we didn't spend much time inside, we were here to see the city so the rooms were perfectly sized for us. There was a bus stop right across the street with easy access into the city, and the tram stop was probably a 5-10 minute walk away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit, and if (hopefully when!) we visit Edinburgh again, we would definitely be a returning guest.

Wonderful experience!
Walkable to old town. Wonderful atmosphere in bar and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was beautiful but small. We compared all of our other hotels to this one- very relaxing and beautiful

Had a fantastic meal at The Roseate Edinburgh. The lamb was absolutely delicious — beautifully cooked, tender and full of flavour. The presentation was lovely too, and every element on the plate worked really well together. A really enjoyable dining experience, and I’d definitely recommend it
