The Scotsman Hotel

Stefano is a truly amazing concierge. He went above and beyond the call of duty to assist us. He happily volunteered to carry four very large, very heavy suitcases up a massive flight of stairs. He was polite, sociable, and a great conversationalist. If there were a Concierge of the Year award, Stefano would certainly win it. Thank you, Stefano, for making our very first experience in Scotland one of kindness and generosity. We will be booking at the Scotsman again in the future because of Stefano.

We had an amazing stay at The Scotsman Hotel, made even more memorable by the outstanding service from Sudan. From the moment we arrived, he took exceptional care of us and made us feel genuinely welcome. He kindly helped us secure a restaurant reservation, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured every detail of our stay was taken care of. His attention to detail, professionalism, and personal approach truly stood out. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our experience special. Sudan is a real asset to the hotel, and his dedication to guest service is one of the reasons we'll definitely be returning.

We had our wedding reception at the Grand Cafe back in June and couldn't be more ecstatic with the professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness from the staff who worked on our special day. Massive thanks go to Klea who worked tirelessly on and met our many requests with a positive and caring manner. We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work in making sure our day was perfect. The personal touches and arrangements she suggested were perfect. Kris the chef also worked hard to meet our requirements and made sure our food was perfect on the day. Our guests are still saying it's the best wedding meal they've ever had! The day was perfectly managed and organised and went without a hitch thanks to the hard work of the staff involved. This meant we could relax knowing we had nothing to worry about on our special day.

We had such a lovely stay at The Scotsman Hotel, and what really made the difference was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to John at breakfast, who greeted us each morning with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. He was attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to come across someone who takes such pride in looking after guests, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed. We'd also like to give a special mention to Marta at reception. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and she always took the time to chat with us and ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Her friendly personality and genuine care made us feel more like valued guests than just another room number. Thank you, John and Marta, for making our stay so memorable. You are both a real credit to The Scotsman Hotel, and we can't wait to return.

A fabulous hotel with a great location and wonderful restaurant to go along with it. Our room was lovely and the service great. In the heart of Edinburgh and a 10-15 minutes walk to the castle. The restaurant in the hotel has really good food and service and is also very pretty to look at with large marble columns. Everybody is so nice there. A little more then what we wanted to spend, but worth it.
