Well located, big lobby, courteous staff and big rooms . The buffet breakfast was a good spread with freshly made varieties of eggs brought to the table. The gym and indoor pool are free and be sure to use them but the outdoor pool and spa are paid services.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre,. The spa was great with plenty of facilities, towels, flip flops and robes. Our room was beautiful and very spacious. The breakfast was great, buffet style and al carte which was a lovely touch. The staff were the best part though. On arrival they asked the reason for our stay. Our kids had booked this as our Christmas gift and we attended on the weekend of our 18th wedding anniversary, which they congratulated us on. They then sent up some bottles of prosecco and macaroons along with a lovely hand written card for us. We cannot wait to return.

I’m genuinely disappointed with my stay at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, which is marketed as a 5-star property but falls far below that standard. The rooms are outdated and clearly in need of renovation. More concerning, the windows are not properly sealed because the cold air comes through, making the room uncomfortable and cold, especially at night. The heating system does not work effectively, so despite adjusting it, the room remained cold throughout the night. Water pressure is extremely poor, practically nonexistent. For a hotel of this level, this is unacceptable and makes even basic things like showering frustrating. The shower itself is also very small, which makes it even more inconvenient. Even the toiletries are subpar. The shampoo is low quality and not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The bathroom design is also questionable. It is mostly glass with no proper walls, offering little privacy, which is quite uncomfortable and not practical. The pillows are extremely poor quality. They are so thin that even sleeping on a sweater would be more comfortable. This made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. Housekeeping was also below expectations. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail was inconsistent and not what you would expect from a hotel of this supposed calibre. Breakfast was another major letdown. The selection is limited, and the overall quality is poor. We ordered eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine, both of which were noticeably oversalted and unpleasant to eat. For a 5-star hotel, both variety and execution should be significantly better. The TV is essentially useless, as it does not connect to Wi-Fi, which is a basic expectation nowadays. Overall, this hotel does not meet 5-star standards in terms of comfort, service, or food quality. It feels outdated, poorly maintained, and overpriced for what it offers. I would not recommend it and would not stay again.

Nice but not worth extra it cost. Hotel was nice, very luxurious, very expensive flower arrangements etc. Rooms nice functional, nice little extra touches like shower cap, mouth wash. We stayed over to go to concert, didn't have meal in hotel. We used pool and sauna and that is literally all you get, you want jacuzzi steam room you need to pay extra, per person and that us for a slot not for whole stay. Pretty poor if you ask me. The pool was ok, clean, shallow very busy. The sauna poor not hot enough and not big enough. If you don't pay extra it's like you're the poor relatives. Breakfast was nice, well prepared, the coffee machine wasn't working, so had to wait ask for coffee, was pretty terrible service, I found myself walking around resturaunt looking for someone to ask, went to bar to be told to sit and wait....this should have been prioritised...I got one coffee...not good. You want to take a car they also charge you £25 Overall wouldn't stay again not worth the money been to better cost less and service was better

It was my wife’s 50th and I was looking for somewhere really nice to stay. This hotel isn’t it. I can’t say it’s bad, it isn’t. What it does is average in everything that it does. Service, food, room the lot. The spa is good, but exorbitant even if you are staying there, you have to pay to use it. Rubbish. The room set up is weird. I’ll not be rushing back here any time soon.
