Worst massage I’ve ever had and it cost £150! The receptionist was transactional and not at all friendly, the masseuse wasn’t exactly off hand but was on the verge of it. Despite noting a particular problem area I wanted her to work on and requesting firm pressure I barely felt this treatment. Extremely disappointing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Extremely comfortable and clean rooms, up to date amenities, with a very hospitable and communicative staff. Alexander at the front desk was very kind and helpful throughout the entirety of our stay, and Sara down at the restaurant for breakfast was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast each day was absolutely stellar and highly recommended to include it into your stay. The lovely and welcoming staff at this hotel made the price completely worth it!

There is no one at the desk after 10:30PM, and no one will answer the phone for problems. Not a good show for the hotel. Went for afternoon tea as a treat for a family member, for a 5 star hotel I maybe expected too much, first we got seated at a very wobbly table, it wasn't busy and there were plenty of spare tables, when we asked to be moved the waitress rolled her eyes at us and said she would ask her manager, we got seated at another table and the waitress left, another couple came in behind us sat down and got told what was on the menu - we didn't - when I got the waitress attention she promptly said "just a moment, I was coming to you next" we asked for a drinks menu and waited and waited eventually we had to go to the bar and ask for it! the afternoon tea was delicious though but the scones were tiny, so maybe bigger scones and one less sweet treat but that's just my preference, I felt there was no atmosphere maybe some soft background music would have been nice.

After walking the Highland Way Trail my wife and I scheduled messages and Emma worked my muscles finding the knots and releasing the tension legs and back and neck. Have had deep muscle work done in states and Mexico and this was most effective! I’d highly recommend this for exercise or work tension relief.
