Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa

We are a group of friends/co-workers on a holiday and had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and gracious hospitality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location right by the Edinburgh castle and a short walk from old /new town, making it easy and convenient to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. Everything was beautifully clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully presented. Wish we had more time to enjoy the spa features. Club lounge is well maintained and organized. We had the connecting room and the room features were updated/modern and thoughfully laid out. What stood out most was the genuine kindness, courteousness and hospitality of the staff, especially Anya who was exceptional and very helpful. We had 4 hours delayed flight and delayed baggage delivery and missed shuttle transfer making our whole flight from London to Edinburgh extremely exhausting, but Anya's attentiveness made us forget the whole flight ordeal. Their warm smiles and thoughtful service made our stay feel especially pleasant and memorable. A lovely experience overall, and a place we would be very happy to return to and recommend to others.

Fantastic stay. The most helpful friendly welcome by the exceptional Isabelle on reception and check out by the lovely Ania. Staff all round were amazing. Fantastic location, hotel great although a bit tired in places and could do with a freshen up, this did not hinder the enjoyment of our stay.

I can honestly say I was blown away by my massage! I had a massage at a different spa the day before and unfortunately wasn’t impressed. I decided to book another one the following day, and I’m so glad I did! I typically prefer a deep tissue massage, and Ellie absolutely delivered. It was probably the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had, which is saying a lot considering how often I get massages back in the States. She listened to exactly what I needed and provided the perfect amount of pressure. A huge thank you to the spa for accommodating me and providing such exceptional service. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I would highly recommend Ellie and this spa to anyone looking for an amazing massage experience!

Isaac at reception was great, thank you for the help. And then Ryan in the concierge service was wonderful and showed what good customer service looks like. One note for the spa- heat up the outdoor pool!

All very pleasant to start with. Asked the pleasant waitress whether I could have a child pizza as the Menu offering was a 12 inch pizza, as I knew that I would not be able ro eat the full size pizza. So we ordered pizza and fish. Before we had the food delivered a rather curt floor manager told me that only children could be served the child pizza, so I was left with no option but to decide on another option. I went for the full pizza, and while i was eating, I asked the waitress whether I could have a box to take home HALF of the pizza. I even had to sign a waiver when they came to take it away! My husband went to the carpark to leave the food in the car, and while he was away, the floor team asked my wife to move tables before we had even had the bill as our table was reserved! I had not even finished my soft drink! So why seat us there?
