The property is centrally located and many attractions are easily accessible and walkable if able. Property is well maintained and easily navigated. Spa/fitness facility is attached via a covered pathway. Restaurant and lounge are good with quality offerings and prompt, courteous service from the staff. One of the highlights was the efforts of concierge Georgina, she arranged for a great birthday experience, complete with a birthday cake and many welcome amenities to make my first trip to Edinburgh truly memorable. I would absolutely recommend this property!

If you are staying at the hotel or are in easy walking distance to the Spa, I would fully recommend booking a full body massage. Jacob at reception was very helpful and knew the treatments and helped me decided. The massage therapist Justine was excellent, very professional and expert in her craft. She was responsive to my needs, listened to where my body needed specific adjustments, overall a lovely experience and one I would thoroughly recommend.

A thoroughly beautiful and well attended hotel. The staff were exceptional, and made you feel very welcome; nothing was too much trouble. A special mention for the Duty Manager Nicola, who upon learning I had passed my masters, surprised me by putting a bottle of prosecco on ice and a little tray of macarons in the room while I was out. Such a lovely thoughtful gesture, and very appreciated. A great venue for the conference attended, and was superbly catered for, and arranged. Again, the staff were very attentive and professional. I treated myself to a hot melting massage with hot stones. Firstly, Jacob at reception was so lovely and very knowledgeable, helping me to choose the treatement I wanted. The treatment iself was amazing. The atmosphere was soothing, well laid out and appointed. The massage therapist Justine was just magic. Very experienced, listened to your concerns and helped focus on the little niggly areas. Could not recommend high enough, and a booking in the spa is a must when you visit. We are a group of friends/co-workers on a holiday and had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and gracious hospitality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location right by the Edinburgh castle and a short walk from old /new town, making it easy and convenient to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. Everything was beautifully clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully presented. Wish we had more time to enjoy the spa features. Club lounge is well maintained and organized. We had the connecting room and the room features were updated/modern and thoughfully laid out. What stood out most was the genuine kindness, courteousness and hospitality of the staff, especially Anya who was exceptional and very helpful. We had 4 hours delayed flight and delayed baggage delivery and missed shuttle transfer making our whole flight from London to Edinburgh extremely exhausting, but Anya's attentiveness made us forget the whole flight ordeal. Their warm smiles and thoughtful service made our stay feel especially pleasant and memorable. A lovely experience overall, and a place we would be very happy to return to and recommend to others.

Fantastic stay. The most helpful friendly welcome by the exceptional Isabelle on reception and check out by the lovely Ania. Staff all round were amazing. Fantastic location, hotel great although a bit tired in places and could do with a freshen up, this did not hinder the enjoyment of our stay.
