Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

Our stay at Virgin Hotels in Edinburgh was the best overall hotel experience my husband and I have ever had. We were blown away by the room upgrade we received upon checking in, the room was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The staff went above and beyond to answer our questions, provide suggestions for sight seeing around Scotland, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The location of this hotel is also central to most attractions and shopping. We will definitely stay here the next time we return to Edinburgh, it's truly a gem.

Swanky hotel in heart of Old Town. Lovely bar with chic drinks. Rooms were small, but well designed and comfortable. The hotel reservations and front desk teams would not work with me on adjusting my reservations due to flight delays, so that was challenging to start off on a sour note, but overall nice experience. Would probably not recommend for guests who need flexibility when travel plans change unexpectedly and without any control.

Loved our stay and will definitely stay there again as well as at other Virgin locations. The location of Victoria St was exactly where we needed to be and convenient to shopping, food and drink.

Stayed here for my wifes 60th birthday which was given as a present. What a lovely hotel. The staff are so helpful and everyone of them had a smile from when we first arrived until we left. Room was perfect and a view on to the castle which was a wee bonus. We finished the night in the bar with a few cocktails and the first 2 where on the hotel as they left us 2 tokens with a Happy Birthday message written on our mirror. Very nice touch!! Breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. We will certainly be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere special to stay in Edinburgh. We just returned from our second consecutive stay in Edinburgh, Scotland staying at the Virgin Hotel on Victoria Street. We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in with a glass of cold prosecco. Everyone there is so friendly & accommodating. This luxury but very inviting hotel is beautiful but its the staff that makes you wanna come back. Especially love the library lounge as I am a book lover. Eclectic, cozy & comfortable place to relax & have a drink after a long day of sight seeing beautiful in Edinburgh. Craig, the concierge was especially kind and helpful to us . The location right on Victoria Street is the perfect location to Edinburgh Castle & the Royal Mile & popular restaurants. Our quiet room was always immaculate & we were always provided with sparkling water & Caramel bars which are totally addicting . Thanks again for an absolutely wonderful week and hope to see you in 2027.
