Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

We had a wonderful stay at the Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh. We had a King room with a terrace that faced Edinburgh Castle, and a cute bustling street below. The room was a little small by American standards, but it was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful with info about Edinburgh. The location is perfect to reach The Royal Mile and The Grassmarket. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh last weekend. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptional and every member of staff was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. The hotel feels luxurious yet relaxed, and the attention to detail really stood out. Our room was spotless, incredibly quiet and one of the most comfortable we've stayed in. The bed was excellent, the rainfall shower was fantastic, and we loved the modern touches such as the touch light switches, effective air conditioning, and the ability to stream content from our own devices directly to the TV, which was a great feature after a day exploring the city. We've stayed in many hotels over the years, and this one genuinely stands out. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh on foot, with all the main attractions, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Relaxed atmosphere, stylish and welcoming. It feels luxurious without being pretentious. Beautifully designed rooms, exceptionally comfortable and equipped with thoughtful modern features. The bed and shower were outstanding. Excellent value considering the quality of the accommodation, service and little extras included. Immaculate throughout. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. Exceptionally quiet. We enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep despite being in the heart of the city. First-class service from check-in to departure. Friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Fantastic amenities, including excellent air conditioning, touch light controls, complimentary snacks and drinks, and lovely Arran of Scotland toiletries.

Incredible location and gorgeous historical building! So many nooks and crannies to enjoy and explore. Complimentary drinks, spa water to greet us daily, friendly employees, clean and comfortable rooms, unique rooftop terrace with castle views…highly recommend!

Great location amazing hotel fantastic helpful staff wonderful food and drink. Beautiful rooms comfy beds This was my 2nd visit and I will return.. love this gem of a hotel.
