Lovely
We had a lovely stay here and would definitely return. The hotel had a clean, welcoming atmosphere and the staff were super friendly and always happy to help. They even stored our bags without any fuss before check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable, though we were given an accessible room, which wasn’t something we needed. It didn’t affect our stay, but it wasn’t our preference. The hotel was quiet, with no noise disturbances at all, and breakfast was absolutely fantastic — the buffet had plenty of variety, everything was delicious, and it set us up perfectly for the day. Highly recommend including breakfast in your booking! There were a couple of small things that could be improved. Our bags weren’t brought up to the room for over an hour and a half after check-in, so we ended up going to collect them ourselves. Also, the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, which made it less than ideal, I really struggled to get the shampoo out of my hair. Neither issue really impacted our stay, but for a five-star hotel charging accordingly, these little details can make all the difference. Overall, a great experience — we left happy and will definitely be back.

Lovely stay in a great old town location
Fabulous location. Quiet room. Great breakfast options (we were vegan). Friendly staff -very genuine. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to explore.

Location, Style and Comfort - its a WINNER
EXCELLENT location, friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are well designed and well kept. Cleaning services are on point and quick...never had to wait for room to be cleaned and refreshed. Overall the atmosphere is really modern, fresh and clean. It always smells sooo good!

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel and ideally placed just a little bit expensive for what it is but that might just be Edinburgh in general. Breakfast was good, amazing bread which is baked in house. Wanted to take the whole loaf!
