Unexpected charge and no resolution from the hotel
The stay itself was good, but the experience after checkout was very disappointing. I noticed an unexpected charge on my credit card that does not correspond to any invoice or documented expense from the hotel. When I contacted the hotel, they initially acknowledged that the charge did not appear in their system and said they would investigate it with their finance team. However, after that, I received no follow-up or resolution. The lack of response and accountability after raising a legitimate concern is not what I would expect from a hotel of this level. I hope management can improve how these situations are handled, as this has negatively affected my overall experience.

Wonderful stay!
Virgin Hotels in Edinburgh is absolutely wonderful. The aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful and unique. The staff was amazing and accommodating.

Lovely stay
Had a lovely stay.Hotel is stunning.Room was lovely comfy bed ,great shower.Only thing i wasn't happy about is being next to gym and woken early Sunday morning. Staff were all lovely.Everyone made a fuss off our two small dogs.They were spoilt with lovely beds blankets bowls and food.Dogs were so well behaved.Thankyou all .

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Amazing location, great ambiance, super friendly staff… i mean really best hotel ever. I will become a frequent virgin hotel client. 100% recommended!

The overall experience was that of a hotel three times the price. I highly recommend it. Right in the center of the old town. A beautiful sanctuary to come back to after a day of pounding the pavement. A lot of thought and effort went into every detail to make your stay a delight—from the rooms to the amenities and the people.
