This hotel did not disappoint. From being greeted at check-in with a glass of champagne to the gorgeous room and super comfy bed, just love the Virgin vibe! Great location in the Old Town too, which made exploring so easy. Lovely breakfast (buffet or you can order from a set menu) - and they could cater for my gluten free needs too! I would definitely recommend ♥️

What a lovely hotel! The location is perfect and all the staff we met were so friendly and professional. The decor was really nice and our room was clean and well presented. I loved the layout of the room and felt it was very well thought out. Would definitely recommend this hotel when visiting Edinburgh and we will be back!

Hotel was beautiful. Everything was great. Location 10/10! Everything was close and walkable. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Restaurant food was delicious. Beds were comfy. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel !

We booked this hotel twice in one trip. Once was planned, the other was in a panic after another hotel we had booked turned out to be a disaster,and luckily we managed to get the last 2 rooms. Both experiences were stellar. The first was with my husband after arriving from the US to start our Christmas holidays with our family, the staff were incredible, some of the best service we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The room we got was gorgeous, large, beautifully appointed, a bit quirky and a real dream for us to get over our jet lag. The hotel itself is lovely, again some real quirky additions, but not too over to the top to make it themed hotel. it's stylishly designed and beautifully, impeccably maintained. Everything is immaculately clean. the location is perfect and the restaurants were both very nice ( we loved the commons club on our first visit but preferred Eve on the second). I just can't be any more effusive with my praise for all the staff, even during our second stay just before Hogmanay ( our last minute booking) where they were completely full.. they were still exceptional even under immense pressure. Whomever is training and hiring this staff needs to be commended because they really know what they are doing. The staff make the experience and everyone of them are wonderful assets to the Virgin name. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
