The location was amazing and we stayed in the Eve Suite which was gorgeous! The staff was the best part of our stay and made our anniversary very memorable!

Modern hotel in Old Town Edinburgh
We had a great stay at this hotel. We had a corner chamber room which was very spacious for the two of us. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location can't be beat for Old Town and the royal mile and easily walkable to New Town. Member happy hour was a nice break after all the walking and climbing we did. This was our first time staying in a Virgin Hotel but hopefully not our last.

I travel frequently throughout Europe and regularly stay at five-star hotels. I visited Edinburgh with my wife for a weekend, and unfortunately, our experience at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh was disappointing. Given the high price, I expected a genuine five-star experience. However, the room, staff presentation, uniforms, service and attention to detail did not meet that standard. I have stayed at many less expensive hotels that offered significantly better comfort and service. While your staff were polite and friendly, five-star service requires more than friendliness—it requires professionalism and attention to every detail. Overall, the experience felt closer to a two- or three-star hotel. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh again. I hope you take this feedback seriously. Perfect location, gorgeous hotel, great restaurants and bars and friendly staff! I loved the decor of the hotel and that all the hot spots were right out our doorstep.
