We're fans of Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages, but this stay was a letdown. Despite calling ahead and being told our room would be ready well before 3pm, we waited from 10am until 2:15pm for a key. Our room was next to a nightclub, and music kept us up past midnight on a Monday. When my wife called the front desk around 1am to ask when it would stop, she was put on hold and disconnected twice, and then our room phone stopped working. We emailed the hotel afterwards and never heard back. The location is great, but ask for a room away from the club, and don't expect help at the front desk late at night.

We stayed at Virgin Hotel Edinburgh for our 40th wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time. We were made to feel very welcome and valued guests. All the team-mates were fantastic and we would like to give a special shout out to Grace and Dana. They made our evening meals an even more special dining experience at the Eve restaurant. We would stay again. Recommended!

Short walk to the castle in a lovely old building. Fabulous beds were a welcome treat after being awake for 24 hrs traveling 3 flights. Breakfast included in our room rate was outstanding! My only negative is that room 620 has a terrible view.

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful staff, and in the hotel was in a great location. The only problem I had was the hot water in the shower never got fully hot.

The Hotel is in prime location. Wonderful decoration, great vibe and lovely ambience. The breakfast offer is plenty and delicious. Both bar and restaurant have amazing offers for food and drinks. Everything overall was wonderful, but most importantly, the staff truly made our stay exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the gentleman at the door was genuinely warm, welcoming, and helpful. Within seconds, he was assisting us with our luggage and making sure our check-in went smoothly. He took care of our car and no need for us to do anything else. Then we met Ron, who was truly the cherry on top. What an incredible person to have assisting guests! Every day, he went out of his way to check in on us and make sure we were comfortable and that all our needs were taken care of. He was consistently kind, attentive, and thoughtful, and he also gave us wonderful recommendations for exploring the city. The level of care and hospitality from the staff, and especially from Ron, made us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. It was an experience we will remember fondly.
