Overall a great place to stay but check out the menu first!
Fantastic staff as always (our second visit) but the great disappointment was the Commons Club restaurant as the menu has changed from fine dining to a brassiere style, not our kind of food and as we booked especially for the food as it was we won’t be returning to eat there. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds but it was cold for us, we’re not young and need the heat especially my hubby who is not very mobile. The library is well stocked with great books and I loved this aspect.

Outstanding stay in the heart of Edinburgh
It was flawless, from the pre arrival check in, to the ease of use for the app. I was especially welcomed with a personalised card and sweet treats on arrival. My daughter loves room service, as she always feel 'very celeb' and your room service team member was so lovely, friendly and accommodating. We loved the room so much I struggled to have my daughter leave! It was overall outstanding, and we hope to visit again soon!

I had a wonderful weekend stay at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city, making it so easy to explore all that Edinburgh has to offer. The room was beautifully designed, very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with great attention to detail and comfort. I especially appreciated the cozy bed and the little touches that made the stay feel special. Service was another highlight - friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout the stay. The team made everything feel effortless and added a personal touch that made a real difference. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend escape and I'd absolutely love to return. A perfect choice for anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Edinburgh!

what a lovely hotel
Hotel is amazing, in the centre of everything. The staff are so professional and helpful, going the extra mile. the room was lovely and clean and so comfy. The only issue was our room was it was in ear shot of a loud night club,

Truly wonderful Hotel
Had a wonderful stay the hotel was beautiful. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely and the beds were so comfy which was much needed after walking miles around sightseeing! Would highly recommend
