Outstanding stay at the W with outstanding service.
My wife and I visited Scotland for the first time from the states. Selected the W to stay at. Location is PERFECT for getting around easily - hotel is very 5 stars - service was the best here, better than anywhere else we stayed in our trip to visit Europe. Only downside is the rooms are really tiny and on an awkward angle because of the cool building. Nothing they can do about that - glad we selected here to stay.

Wonderful overnight
The moment I arrived, I knew I would love it. The welcome from guy at the door, explaining carpark options. Through to reception, lovely welcoming staff. Hotel is very unique, the deco is fabulous. Our room was lovely, had a balcony too! Pillows are great! Had a wonderful sleep. Loved all the mood lighting in the room. We visited the lounge bar , amazing views of the city. Drinks are expensive, but if u want a treat , worth it. Muzamal the supervisor in the lounge was lovely, friendly and informative about drinks. He is a wee star! Roof top amazing !! Very funky

Had a great stay here. Very well run and clean. Had positive interactions with all but one staff member. If you visit the roof lounge you can skip the line bc you are a guest. Great location close to tram and the Royal Mile. Also right next to high-end shopping! Would absolutely stay here again.
