Great hotel, great for meetings and leisure.
A really good hotel. The location is good, the hotel is great to look at and well laid out. The breakfast buffet and terrace is a great experience every day. Dinner was great. The staff were helpful. The gym is very good. The beach bar service could be quicker and a bit more shaded loungers in the pool area and beach would be the only things I would change.

Not a 5 Star Resort
Let me be clear: this is NOT a 5 star resort. There is no 5 star service and the rooms are no where near 5 star. We are here now. Out toilet is cracked and toilet paper holder is broken and hanging off sideways. They knew we were a family of 4. My kids were supposed to sleep on a pull out bed that was not prepared for them. When we opened the pull out, there were no bed linens. I had to call the front desk to request bedding. Someone brings them up and hands them to me and walks away. No one prepared the bed. We then go in the bathroom and there are 2 towels for 4 people. We again call down and have to ask for more towels. The AC is minimal and can not be adjusted. The service at all restaurants and bars is quite slow and the servers are aloof and in no rush to assist.

Beautiful stay in such impressive facilities
The Le Méridien Ra is a remarkable building with a sense of space and history that immediately stands out. We were particularly impressed by the wellness area and the gym, which are extensive and provide a great environment for anyone looking to stay active or relax during their stay. The climatized swimming pools were also a highlight, maintained at a comfortable temperature that made them very enjoyable for the family. Breakfast deserves a special mention as it was truly amazing. The selection of products is high-quality and very well cared for, reflecting a standard that matches the hotel's category. The dinner at La Terraza del Mar was a highlight! Great atmosphere and fresh variety. While the property is vast, the atmosphere remains calm and professional, defined by the incredible attention to detail from the management team. While every trip can have its minor hiccups, it is how a hotel responds that defines its true category. Mr. Martin Van Halteren, the Front House Manager, is a true professional who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests feel valued and cared for. He handled our stay with personal attention and ensured that any observations were addressed with genuine care. It is a beautiful place for a family break, and we appreciated the hospitality shown by the entire team. A beautiful property with a team that truly understands the meaning of hospitality. We look forward to returning.

Amazing !
We are still here until tomorrow and already can’t wait to come back — this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The views over the sea are stunning, and the beach is beautiful and very clean. It’s such a lovely part of the Spanish coast. The rooms are perfect and the service has been incredible. We’ve received the best possible treatment from everyone here. A very special thank you to Sol for helping us prepare our wedding package — we truly appreciate it. Cheers to all the staff — you are amazing!

Underwhelming service and hotel, but a nice spa
The hotel has the bones of a good offering. An old hospital that has been restored, a room with a big terrace looking out to see and a great new spa - the massage thought was expensive for what I had. The bad news is the room felt corporate and lacked personality. There were no bedside tables or lights. The bathroom was dated with a dirty bath and it needed replacing. The terrace was not swept once during our stay by the cleaners. But it was the air conditioning noise that would come and go that was most annoying. The staff could be described as functional at best with one or two exceptions. When we complained we were offered a room without a terrace, but 'of the same class' it did not feel the same in any way. Persistent complaining by us and a lack of urgency or response form the staff marred the stay. The breakfast food offering was pedestrian for the price point and had no freshly cooked items available. The lunch was better. The dinner buffet was again pedestrian - a wide selection, but no fresh offerings would have helped. The pool offering felt like empty without planting to soften the concrete of the roof. It felt bleak.
