Lovely Stay
Lovely location, cosy atmosphere. Stayed at the Hideaway but Retreat equally as nice. Good breakfast, very German. Lunch, dinner and room service priced well. Nice spa treatment and loads of pools, large saunas, large steam-rooms and relaxation areas to explore in both hotels. Looking forward to returning.

My wonderful stay at Schloss Elmau
I just returned from nine nights at Schloss Elmau - a magical one-of-a-kind place. I stayed in the Retreat where the staff were professional, gracious and helpful throughout my stay. The BMW loaner cars were a real plus for exploring nearby beautiful places like Mittenwald and Linderhof Palace. There is so much to do - hiking, e-biking, several spas and pools, first-rate concerts, many restaurants, and so many quiet, tastefully appointed rooms for relaxation. Such a beautiful place.
