See you next year :)

Amazing location, incredible view and service!! Staffs are very friendly and really want to assist you,as soon we walked out the taxi we received a warm welcome from the gatekeeper and the guest relation girl ,we had a welcome drink at the balcony and the view was just wow. The resort is very spreaded so it never feels crowded and noisy, they have a golf club service that drives you around the resort whenever you need them, the drivers are always happy to give us a lift and never waited more than 5mins for a ride. Boufet at tholos had unlimited options and varietys which was very nice,we had dinner once at blend and once at akti restaurants, which both of them had an amazing food and service, but we preferred tholos which was easier for our kids :) The beach and the pool where our favourite place to spend our day to relax, so make sure to visit both!

5 star Domes Elounda

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

The hotel is a very large 5 star complex with such friendly staff and incredible high quality accommodation. Private beach excellent. Having previously reported some issues, the management response, and in particular from Lena Patsoni was immediate and highly professional. We ate in Makris restaurant within the hotel which was of very high quality. The service and friendliness of staff was impressive. Thank you for a memorable week!

Highly recommended with the WOW factor

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

From the moment we arrived we felt the 'WOW' factor. The welcome drink with that incredible view was wonderful. We were then swiftly taken to our villa by golf buggy and met with two wonderful ladies who showed us around. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Luxury Residence and I think I can safely say, with working in travel for 20+ years, this was the best 'room' I've ever stayed in. Everything about it oozed elegance and the private terrace and pool were just magical, not to mention the view. The pool remained warm throughout our stay and was so very welcoming after a day out exploring. Two full bathrooms, an oversized king size bedroom, a twin room, a kitchenette with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, cooker, small sink and even a dishwasher. You won't want for anything. The bed was super comfy and there was AC and ceiling fans in every room. I was a little apprehensive before going as I knew the resort was very large and built on either sides of a hill. I needn't worry as there are golf buggies everywhere and we never waited more than a couple of minutes for a ride. Location wise, it's perfect. Elounda is beautiful and we walked to the lovely little village of Plaka and got on a boat over to Spinalonga - a total must see. Only an hour from Heraklion airport, a pleasant drive. To some this may be a strange comment, but comfort is important. We really loved that the seats everywhere (lounges and restaurants) were always really comfortable! The food was excellent, breakfast had endless choice and even the evening buffets were plentiful and always fresh and tasty. The outdoor gym is fun with a great view. If you have Haute living (included with the Residences) you'll also have access to a nice indoor gym. The Haute living lounge was great; all day snacks and drinks, including wines and beer during the day and some spirits in the evening. We'd really recommend the Haute living. I had a look at the spa and it looked wonderful, with a pool, jacuzzi, couples treatments and steam/sauna. We thought the beach was just perfect, nice ambiance, great snacks and drinks and travelling as a couple, we appreciated the 'quiet' zone. You don't need to cross the road to access the beach, which is a private beach. The nearest ATM is located away from the hotel, so bring cash if you want to tip the wonderful staff - they certainly deserve it as they all work very hard.

Makris Restaurant - WOW, AMAZING. A resort that is well worth a visit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

An absolutely amazing dining experience, service, staff, atmosphere, and food all contributed to a truly memorable experience. Lena, arranged our night and did everything to make this brilliant, Kostas and George were wonderful, I would definitely recommend following their advice on food and wine choices, each dish was beautifully presented and the tastes were even better. The resort is very luxurious, rooms are spacious and well equipped, we had a ‘residence’ on high ground with our own pool and stunning views, there’s a good range of swimming pools and beach access to accommodate all. The staff at The Domes are just fantastic and really made our stay very special, from arrival each represented hospitality at its best (guest relations, bar staff, club car drivers, waiters and waitresses across the resort) do everything to make you feel welcome. Thank you to all.

Perfect hotel for families

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I write this review as we enjoy our last evening here at the hotel - we have had a fantastic week staying at Domes of Elounda as a family of 5 (3,7 and 12 year old) We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a pool - gorgeous view too! Room is beautiful and clean, and housekeeping have done a fantastic job and really looked after us. All staff we have encountered have been very welcoming polite. Buggies to get around have been A* service and really helpful to get us to and from our room to the beach most days. Highly recommend the beach - our children loved it, comfy sun loungers and plenty of water sport activities to do also. Main pool has a great size kids pool under a canopy which our youngest children have enjoyed - perfect for the hotter days to keep the children out of the direct sun whilst enjoying the water. Has a shop on site which you can pick up most things from - although we noticed it did close early most days which was a little frustrating. We would love to return here again in the future
