Very disappointed with the room we were allocated at this so called leading hotel of the world member. A premier inn would be better appointed than what we were given, and it was not the cheapest room that we paid for (we paid about £400 per night for this). Gauling as we know other couples have enjoyed superior accommodation for a week in bungalows for £2000 for two including flights. The rooms in the spa building are not just dated but archaic with random pieces of furniture in the room that spanned various decades and not the 2020s. This part of the hotel is definitely not as well maintained as other areas just feels neglected. Staff are pleasant enough but this is a hotel of two halves and sadly we weren’t allocated to the maintained side. No doubt there will be glowing reports of you are fortunate enough to be at the other side and anyone on the other half will be unlikely to see the sad looking gardens or rooms. Be very careful about which rooms you book.

This has to be the best location in Crete ! The hotel is so beautiful and relaxing to be at due to the space and views of the hotel. But without a doubt it’s the staff that make this a special place! They are so friendly and welcoming and they are always so happy to help you in any way they can! You feel like family and if you are a returning guest you are welcomed with hugs and genuine pleasure that you have returned to their home! I come with my best friend in May and again in September. We stayed in bungalow with a pool which was a delight! But any room in this hotel is excellent. Some are traditional and very authentic to Greece and some are very modern so you have a great choice!!

This a large hotel with every facility that one could want, except for me the use of a 150 hp fast boat, I have a lot of experience with boats and twice every year used to attend a weeks course staffed by olympic instructors, so am easily able to handle a reasonably fast power boat, I was disappointed that this was not available as at other hotels that I have stayed at over the years. That issue aside the hotel is spotlessly clean, and the public areas are extensive, they seem to have almost limit less space. We travelled during the period of the the war and whether that had an effect on the numbers of guests is likely. There is certainly no shortage of outdoor space, swimming pools etc. There are beautiful views from the hotel of the sea and coastline. We had a sea view room which is something that I would recommend. The deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable with a good shower. There are free electric buggies staff driven which are always available to take one to a restaurant, something that is very useful given the size of the place. All the staff without exception were friendly, pleasant and efficient. The food is good, there is a choice of several on site, and others within short taxi range at the port in Elounda which is a nice typical Greek town. I found the Greeks very welcoming and pleasant, always keen to help. Elounda air port is typical Greek, not a pleasant experience, but the enthusiasm of the Greeks to help out is commendable, I have some nasty injuries so walk with difficulty and a stick and I lost count of Greeks who offered me their seat etc. Overall I would highly recommend this place, years ago I spent several years sailing around the Greek Islands, and I had forgotten just how good the Greek people are.

Quiet luxury: stayed late April into early May and had a wonderful time with highly professional courteous and attentive staff, who made our stay special. Not all restaurants and bars at the resort we're fully open as it's the very start of the season, but we enjoyed those that were - and especially Dionysos, which had live music. The private beach was peaceful and, along with the grounds and gardens, beautifully maintained. Our room was large and pleasant - with a sea view as advertised. Watersports and a dive school were available, and a kids club. Transport to lively Agios Nikolaos, Malia Iraklion and beyond by buses, taxi or hire car is straightforward. For us, this holiday didn't disappoint so thank you, Elounda Beach.

We stayed a week at this really nice hotel area. It is a really big area but everything is nicely connected. Four good restaurant to choose from and a very good breakfast area. One thing we really liked was that you keep your beach beds the whole week and don't have to chase a spot every day. The staff in general was very nice and helpful. A calm play to just enjoy.
