The resort views were pretty. Not a fan of the small pool and the walk to the water. Thankfully we had our own pool. There were a lot of young families. The rooms were very clean, the staff was great - it just wasn’t our favorite resort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The perfect resort for golfers and families We’ve just had a fantastic stay at Porto Elounda Golf Resort & Spa and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better resort for our family. For us, the golf was a huge bonus. Having a 9-hole par 3 course literally on the doorstep was perfect. My husband and son really enjoyed playing it — it’s a surprisingly tricky little course and a great challenge! There’s also a small driving range in the shade, which was ideal for my son to practise, and a golf pro is available for lessons. We bought the unlimited golf pass, which we thought was really good value, although you can also pay for individual rounds. There was lots to keep the children entertained too. The water sports on the beach were a big hit, especially the sofa/doughnut being pulled along by the speedboat! Jet skis and other activities were available too. We were half board and were really impressed with the food. Dinner was in the buffet restaurant each evening, with plenty of choice and some food cooked fresh in front of you. It was mostly meat, fish and vegetables and, for us, there was just the right amount of choice without it being overwhelming. We actually enjoyed the buffet so much that we didn’t feel the need to eat elsewhere. We also hired the tennis courts, which were €40 for an hour, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available around the pool. We didn’t use the spa, so unfortunately can’t comment on that. The staff were a real highlight of the holiday. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, but a special mention has to go to Raymund and the lifeguard around the pool, who were both fantastic. And the views… just beautiful! The setting really is stunning and made the holiday feel extra special. You can also use the sister hotels, including Elounda Mare, which is just a 3-minute boat transfer away and has à la carte restaurants. We didn’t actually feel the need to use them, though, as we were so happy with the buffet restaurant included with our half board. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. If you’re a family who enjoys golf, this is a fantastic choice, but there’s also plenty to do if not everyone is a golfer. Beautiful views, lovely staff, great food, lots of activities and a really relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely come back! ⛳️☀️🇬🇷

The photos are not the same with the reality the rooms are actually small. The garden is small. It says daily cleaning but it’s just something to take your eyes. They basically just do your bed.

A very good stay overall in a beautiful, quiet setting right on the water. It's a high-end resort and fairly secluded, which made it relaxing, but keep that in mind if you'd rather be close to restaurants and town. The food was the weak spot. It was fine but not great, and I expected a bit more given the price. Comfortable, well kept, and worth it if you're after quiet luxury and don't mind being a little out of the way.
