Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas

My partner and I spent a night at Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas to celebrate our engagement, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Cori at the front desk made our check-in seamless. She was incredibly informative, warm, and welcoming. She even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a thoughtful message in our room, which made our celebration feel extra special. Our valet, Gabe, was equally wonderful. He kindly helped with our bags and thoughtfully provided us with water bottles for our drive. Every interaction felt calm, genuine, and caring, creating such a peaceful and memorable stay. I highly recommend this resort and hope others are lucky enough to be cared for by such exceptional staff.

Great place - clean, friendly and amazing views of the ocean. Rooms were modern and spacious. Definitely worth the price. Special shout outs to Chad and Vic at the Valet stand.

We had a wonderful stay at Alila Marea Beach Resort. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with great food and attentive service throughout our visit. Cori at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. She assisted us with extending our late checkout and also recommended nearby trails and bike routes, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort was very quiet overall, and housekeeping was prompt and efficient. Everything felt well cared for, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy the experience. This is definitely a place we would love to revisit and would highly recommend to others.

We booked an ocean view room through Skylark. We were excited to find the hotel had upgraded us to an ocean view suite when we arrived! We enjoyed several meals at Vaga, the onsite restaurant, where the service was consistently good. Our complimentary breakfast was delicious and we had a variety of choices. Every staff member we encountered greeted us. The gym and pool were clean and stocked with towels. We found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and didn’t hear any noise at midnight! We felt like the hotel staff really wanted us to enjoy our stay.

I had an amazing first experience thing at the Alila Marea. I did a business retreat to end the year. I wanted to give a shoutout to Ricky who was the great first impression at the resort working in valet. He went above and beyond to make sure I was welcome and gave great hospitality. I definitely am going to keep recommending this place and will definitely be back. They had a great coffee shop, restaurants, spa, gym and more.
