Omni La Costa Resort and Spa

Always a wonderful stay at Omni La Costa. Great service, amazing amenities! Great for couples or family. Adult pool is amazing overlooking golf course. Spa is great with private pool for those at spa. Highly recommend. We’re San Diego locals and always enjoy this as a top staycation.

Best experience at a resort ever. Was there for a work event but hands down better than a vacation. The beauty and cleanliness of the property, top tier meals, welcoming and kindness of staff, beautiful villa style rooms. Whole experience from check in to check out was amazing! Work event was held in call room area and meals were just amazing.

I was not impressed. The room is outdated and linen was used up. Personal experience- I forgot my jackets hanging in the closet. I realized that when I was 5 minutes headed north on the 5 freeway. I called the front desk. They said they will contact security to it. As I head back I heard nothing back over 30mim. I went up to my room , none to found, I reached a ground men , he contact security. They came , I had to go back to the front office to retrieve it. The process is broken, over all it took over an hour and half to be on my way.

We arrived late and received no welcome or acknowledgment, which set the tone for the stay. Upon entering our “family suite,” we discovered it was actually two adjoining rooms—something that was not clearly communicated at booking. Traveling with young children, this setup was not ideal or comfortable, especially since the connecting door would not stay open. More concerning was the cleanliness of the room. There was visible hair in the bathtub and robes, as well as a bug in the tub. There were also stains on the couch and walls. This immediately raised concerns about the overall sanitation of the space. When I reached out to address these issues, the response was underwhelming. After waiting for a manager callback, I was only offered housekeeping as a solution—despite clearly expressing that the issue was not just cleanliness, but also the room layout and overall comfort for my family. No meaningful accommodations were made, and I did not feel valued or taken seriously as a guest. While a discounted upgrade was eventually mentioned, it felt more like an opportunity to spend more money rather than a genuine effort to correct the situation. Even after moving rooms, I never received a key and had to request it twice, was never told where to get ice. And requested maintenance twice for non working power outlets and no one ever arrived to resolve the issue. Overall, the lack of urgency, empathy, and accountability was disappointing—especially for a resort that positions itself as a luxury, family-friendly destination. I did not feel welcomed, valued, or prioritized during this stay. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both their service and communication moving forward.

The resort is beautiful and the staff was exceptional. I enjoyed the resort and the interactions with all staff. I highly recommend staying here. It is conveniently located as well .
