Excellent visit

Lovely resort, food was delicious, room was clean and spacious. Pool area was well kept, plenty of towels available. All of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Old, musty rooms and inedible breakfast.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Extremely old and dirty hotel. Rooms were very old, musty smell and had mold on the vents. I sneezed from the minute we checked in. We left the next day and moved to another hotel. It was unbearable especially for the price and a huge disappointment. The breakfast was awful - coffee and eggs were inedible. We will not be back.

Father and son golf trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Don't go to relax. Several pools with kids and families screaming. Two golf courses. South course not any better than public courses in Orange County, CA. Valet staff friendly and helpful but parking situation is ridiculous. Daily self-park was $45, valet $75 but guest only charged $60. Property buildings and rooms so spread out that shuttle is used to get one back to clubhouse and main building. Rooms are nothing special and just normal hotel size. Way overpriced. Only gets a 2 star because north course was great.

Blah blah blah

Pulling in the property is impressive. Check in staff - amazing. Room - spacious. From there on, forget about it. Arriving at 2, hungry, there wasn’t anywhere to get a sit down meal for hours. Even the bar had an hour long waitlist. The young man taking names couldn’t be bothered to speak to us until we asked him several times what the procedure was for getting a table. The Marketplace offered to go food but without access to our room we were forced to eat on a bench in the sun. Once our room was ready, other than a desk chair, there was nowhere to relax unless I wanted to lay on the bed, which I didn’t at 3:30pm. The tiny patio had 2 chairs but NO SHADE. Fortunately we didn’t have to stay on property for dinner. Next morning I gave up on trying to get a table for breakfast since I’d been trying for 24 hours in advance and we ordered room service. My Bloody Mary was supposed to have bacon, onions, olives, cornichons, and shrimp. I received 2 olives, no spice, and something blander than an airplane Bloody Mary. The rest was fine but served in to go containers without even a cup for the OJ. The room itself, while roomy with a huge bathtub, offered a view of the laundry carts.

Damp bedding & carpets! Watch out for resort staff driving golf carts!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I stayed here in early August 2026 for a business meeting. I found my room to have noticeably damp carpets and bedding, which led to some of the worst sleep of my life. Imagine trying to sleep with wet sheets! Also, I found the resort staff driving golf carts to be less than courteous to guests most of the time, rarely slowing down or yielding to you when encountering them on resort property which happened every time I tried to walk from one building to another. Moving off the sidewalk and out to the road to avoid them only led to my almost getting hit by guests who speed excessively through the resort property in their personal vehicles. Nobody seems to monitor or abide by a speed limit here. I would never pay to stay here using my own money.

Used the Edge adult pool for the first time. This really made the trip. I loved the view, the seating, the pool and the number of jacuzzis.
