Old, rooms are bad, 1 room suite with sofa bed from the 1970s for the kids…so bad here now and it’s pretty awful. Pool good though, so are the drinks…

Horrible hotel. Wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. Never stayed at an Omni hotel. First time spending 2 nights here..and just HORRIBLE service. Kids can't play or speak loud in room even before 10 pm! Not kids friendly at all..other than a splash pad with 2 good slides...if you can just come for resortpass and do pool. Other than that won't be coming here and spending single penny with Omni. Overall bad experience. Hotel is at most a 3 star hotel- been to many resorts..wouldn't recommend this to anyone to waste there money on.

Fantastic resort nestled between picturesque mountains and a beautiful golf course. The resort is a bit dated and old, but it has everything for a great family vacation, and the staff service truly sets it apart. Yes this place is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for and then some. Service alone give this a 5 star status. Great pools, restaurants, fitness center, spa, and overall campus.

Ramiro in Bar Traza was very attentive. The breading on the cauliflower tempura was a bit heavy for my taste but the view of the golf course is worth the price of admission. The Bar really should consider a happy hour!!!

As you pull into the resort you immediately feel and see the beauty around you. Upon arrival you are greeted at Valet and they guide you accordingly and take great to make sure you are taken care of. Sherlyn at the front desk took care of me and listened to my questions and carefully advised my next steps. My room was beautiful, my bed was very comfortable, and their pillows are the fluffiest. Our event staff was also amazing, paying great attention to detail, the food was delicious and the presentation was carefully thought out and looked amazing. Benito from the event staff stood out, he always has a smile on his face and is super attentive to detail, and very helpful when asked a question or I needed help with something. So whether you are there for business or a family getaway, this is a must stay in Carlsbad!

Used the Edge adult pool for the first time. This really made the trip. I loved the view, the seating, the pool and the number of jacuzzis.
