Kempinski Palace Engelberg

At the outset , Schiva & her team has been nothing short of phenomenal ! We had been planning this trip for the better part of 2-3 months . We were a large group of 32 pax age ranges from 3-70 . No detail was too small or unimportant for Schiva & her team ! The entirety of the staff from greeting us at the gates of the majestic hotel till check out were polite , kind and willing to go out of their way . One reads reviews sometimes like this and wonders if these stories are possible or just made up internet rumours . Happy to share that with Kempinski Engelberg the property, the staff , the surroundings have to be experienced to be believed . Can’t thank them enough for their generosity and ability to surprise us ! Schiva &!team you’ve made our family’s hearts so full and given us memories to last a lifetime ! Words don’t do Kempinski Engelberg justice , if lucky enough to visit , one must stay there and experience Engelberg & Kempinski hospitality in all its glory !

Our daughter was recently married at a wonderful wedding ceremony at the Kempinski Palace. Above and beyond the absolutely stunning setting in the center of the Alps, the Kempinski was an amazing venue with five star accommodations, pool spot and restaurant. The entire staff was friendly, extremely helpful and very attentive to our needs. There were several small children in our party and their experience was also attended to especially with teepee bed, kiddie pool in the spa/pool area and the sensational kids room. We wish to single out the event coordinator, Mike Hoffmeister, who tirelessly culminated a year of planning with a spectacular wedding. Even the few unexpected challenges would be immediately attended to and solved expeditiously. We were also impressed by the front desk “ladies in red“ Freya and Sophia, who could be counted on to answer and address our requests. We heartily recommend the Kempinski Palace for a truly extraordinary wedding experience.

A truly beautiful hotel in the heart of Engelberg, with the cable car and many scenic walks nearby. The bar with live piano music was a highlight and really made it feel like a place to embrace Swissness. As international guests, we may not always be familiar with local customs, and in such cases a gentle approach would go a long way. Unfortunately, on one occasion the response felt abrupt and even rude, which was disappointing in contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay, and we would be happy to return.

I received a facial by Ander. He was AMAZING! Above and beyond. Not just a facial, but neck, shoulders and even my feet. It was truly the absolute best. Highly recommend, wish I could have one every day! Thank you Ander!!
