Kempinski Palace Engelberg

Fantastic service! Fantastic place! fantastic hotel! We stayed there for four nights during our trip around Europe this summer. It was one of our best ever hotel experiences. I have GHA Titanium membership and they really stepped up extra, including by upgrading our room. Laszlo the concierge, Hanna at the front desk, and all of the others made us feel very welcome and well served. The restaurant staff were excellent, and the cleaners too and always very friendly. Great restaurants including breakfast. We rented e-mountain bikes from the hotel (great bikes!) and took a trip into the valley and mountains. We walked to the gondola and took a trip to the Titlis Tower at 3,000 m and with a glacier grotto and the world’s highest Rolex store. The golf course nearby was nice and VERY scenic. The spa/pool was great, massage too. We will come again!

The Kempinski Palace Engelberg was such a pleasant surprise. Set in a charming, laid-back mountain town, the hotel truly feels like the centerpiece of Engelberg. The staff were consistently knowledgeable, and accommodating. They were happy to help with changes to our reservation and offered great recommendations throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and felt very new. The mountain views were spectacular, the bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains made it easy to get a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well designed. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made our room quite warm during an unusually hot spell. That said, we understand this is fairly typical for the region. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options and plenty of choices for different dietary preferences. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was fun to see travelers from all over the world staying at the hotel, giving it an international yet relaxed atmosphere. The location is fantastic. Many restaurants and hiking trails are within easy walking distance, and the beautiful stream that winds through town is just a few minutes away. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We came with AAPT Swiss Travel Group and on arrival were immediately welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast was excellent with great service. Anytime we required assistance nothing was too much trouble from all the staff. Lennart at the front desk was exceptional assisting us with his expertise in technology. Room service was exceptional and clean. We would recommend this Hotel to all travelers coming to Switzerland and Engelberg.

Absolutely lovely dinning experience, Dimitri was an outstanding waiter! He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He was always smiling, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His excellent service truly made our dining experience even better.
