At Kempinski Palace Engelberg everything is prepared for just a perfect holiday. Lovely and caring staff, comfortable rooms and delicious meals. Beautiful kids club which is very well designed for the little ones to have fun. We spent a lot of time at the kids club with Katarina and she is super nice and kind. She is very knowledgeable and introduced us to lots of new wonderful books and fun games. Thanks Katarina, we cannot wait to come back. Special thanks to Sophie, lady in red with her special surprises and beautiful smile. She was always checking on us and giving us lots of good tips. Also many thanks to Marcin at the Palace bar, he is so nice, spot on and responsible. We had great chats with him every time we were there. Thanks to Laszlo at concierge for all the guidance and good recommendations. And of course I won't forget about the lovely breakfasts and the hardworking but super friendly and smiling team behind it 😊 We are hoping to come back soon.

If you put a sign out front of your hotel that reads “raw luxury,” you had better deliver, and the Kempinski Palace did just that! The accommodations, atmosphere, service, food, spa, etc were all five-star quality. Employees like Aurora all went above and beyond to make the experience special. No detail is overlooked, and no request was too small. The Italian massage therapist with over 20 years experience (I can’t remember her name) is also a worthy mention. One of the best massages I’ve had, and I get them regularly. Do NOT hesitate to splurge on yourself and stay here. The experience is worth the price!

I had the pleasure of staying at Kempinski Palace Engelberg, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Everything was thoughtfully planned and impeccably organized. The entire team was professional, welcoming, and attentive. Special thanks to Helena, whose exceptional service from check-in onward made me feel genuinely cared for, and to Ronald, who kindly and efficiently drove me to and from the train station with a smile. I also had the most incredible experience at the Spa with the professionalism of Anna! She is so knowledgeable and experienced and it’s felt and appreciated. Thank you to the wonderful Kempinski team for creating such a memorable experience. I would gladly return and highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Which I also had the pleasure of experiencing it through the Starguest program.

I stayed at many hotels of this caliber during my time in Switzerland but this was hands down THE BEST! The level of service was unbelievable. Leonard from the front desk and Patricia from housekeeping went beyond the call of duty to make my stay the most memorable while I was in their beautiful country. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this is one of the nicest. Old world charm with modern features. Heavy solid doors, wide hallways make it a very unique property. We stayed on the 5th floor and it was challenging to go to the 4th floor to take an elevator to get to spa, pool and restaurant but I presume this was a design issue. My only complaint was no AC but I know that is the law in Switzerland, Location is perfect right downtown. Staff were all excellent. Restaurant was fabulous, breakfast and dinner. Well worth a visit.
