Nice grounds. The hotel and rooms were also nice enough. The food was ok. It's almost a 4 star rating. We had a problem with our keys the night we stayed. We couldn't open the door to our suite. The guests next door seemed to be having the same problem. Considering the keys were physical and not electronic, this was a little odd. There didn't seem to be enough staff to deal with guests' requests or concerns during the evening hours, although the staff were very nice. I wouldn't thoroughly recommend it because it needs more polish for the price but if you need a place to stay in that area of Scotland, it's worth considering.

Excellent service! Great location to get away from crowds and relax! Spa experience was fantastic as well! Rooms were comfortable and beautiful! Food was great! Again the service was fantastic! Would highly recommend this location to anyone needing time away for rest and relaxation!

We went here with my daughter as a treat before her wedding , we had been before and really enjoyed it and the room we sat in was stunning with beautiful glass windows . To our disappointment when we got there we were directed away as there was refurbishment going on . In mind we booked this back in March and spoke a few days before we came to prepay everything . No one told us this , if they had we would booked our second choice . We then went to champagne afternoon teas . My daughter bride to be is coeliac. When we arrived we were told her cakes would be nothing like ours and wouldn’t be what you would normally get . So you can imagine our surprise when the only difference on her plate to ours , were 2 strawberries!! We asked and they said no they are ok , but after being told one thing them another , she went safe and didn’t eat any of them , tea was cold . This hotels have stunning views a conservatory. At first we were served in the reseption area , we asked to be moved and were out infront if the fire z, which was ok but no windows !! The service was very poor although they were polite . This experience cost us over £500 , what a joke

We took advantage of a special offer and booked a lodge for 4 nights,but were delighted when we were upgraded to a Hilltop Reserve.From our photo you can see the magnificent views from the lodge over the loch to Lismore . The lodge itself consisted of a large well furnished lounge and bedroom with the most comfortable bed we have ever encountered. On arrival we were greeted by the manager, Callum, in a friendly and helpful manner. He also looked after us each breakfast time in a very efficient and cheerful manner. Moreover, we found the service at breakfast and dinner to be of a very high standard with all waiters helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the locally sourced food and found it to be of an excellent standard.Portions were not over large which suited us perfectly. We must admit that we were blessed with wonderful weather and were able to greatly enjoy our walks on both Eriska and Lismore. Overall, we considered it a perfect holiday. This property is Stunning and the staff could not be more brilliant. We spent 3 nights here and our only wish is that we could have stayed another 3. The building is refined, the finishings and amenities are of the highest order, the staff ultra professional and the food is to die for. Large indoor heated swimming pool to relax in and miles and miles of untouched beaches and island walks. I cannot recommend it more Highly and we will certainly be back!
