Amazing

Came away with a friend and had two sea view rooms. Cannot fault the hotel, while people state dated, we found it had everything we needed and cannot complain about the rooms. We went all inclusive and while slightly worried the food wood get boring, the selection was amazing and something for absolutely everyone. Bar menu was also great. The pool and poolside is clean and the beach is all set up and very private. The best thing about the hotel are the staff. I have to mention Pedro who was an incredible host and went above and beyond As well as Antonia in the spa. What hard working, kind humans which nothing was too too much for. Bar staff Sainte and Maria are just amazing and helped us get very merry. Would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone and again thank you to Pedro and Antonio- you are a credit to the team.

WONDERFUL HOTEL - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *****

This was our first time in Estepona and to the Elba Hotel. As we arrived later in the evening, a wonderful spread was laid on in our room - meats, salads, fruit, drinks, etc. Great hotel, beautifully decorated, everyone so friendly and helpful - especially at reception. The room was very spacious and we had a large balcony that overlooked the gardens. Huge, comfortable bed and rooms cleaned before you returned from breakfast. The food was of a high standard with fresh meat, chicken, fish being cooked when you ordered. The chefs were so cheerful as they worked in the heat. We enjoyed the beach at the hotel with beds and shades. We took the 9.50am bus in to Estepona - a very beautiful area with flowers everywhere. The Van Gogh Exhibition there was well worth a visit. We also enjoyed a very well organised trip to Gibraltar. Do not miss the St Michael's cave music and lights presentation. And, oh yes, the monkeys!! All in all, probably the best holiday we have had to date - and we do travel a lot. If you like marmalade on your toast - bring it with you! We will certainly return to this hotel - 5 stars *****

Amazing hotel just a little out the way of things

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Just back from a relaxing holiday. Hotel was amazing and didn't realize it was as big as it is the photos you see don't do it justice. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Room was huge and clean. Food was ok could be better by offering a little bit more choice. Wifi was slightly slow and non existent in certain areas. Hotel it's self is out of the way of things unless you drive. No regular bus service and we had to use local taxis to get into the local town which arrived super quick (always one or two sitting outside hotel) was about 10 euros. There's no tui rep on site and a lot of the excursions tui offer on the app offered hotel transfer but when looking our hotel wasnt part of the ones for pick and we would have to travel to another hotel just to be picked up. Other thing I need to add is both myself and husband have bites (we've been to Cyprus regularly and no problem with mosquitoes) so we are not sure if it's mosquitoes or some sort of bug ie bed bug. Husband is worse of than me although I have came across a few new ones this morning already been to see a pharmacist who says it's definitely bites but can be either mosquitoes or bed bugs cause the both look similar in a way Other than the bites we did have a relaxing time which was well needed

Fantastic break

The service and staff from when we first stepped in the door was fantastic. The room was amazing - great size and perfect view of the sea. Meals and drinks were reasonably priced. The evenings were spent in the bar and hotel lobby with a great atmosphere. The hotel is very classy yet not over the top just very pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast- there was a huge choice and always freshly cooked and presented. We will definitely return- just far enough away from all the small crowds. I have provided 5 stars yet there was building work going on when we stayed so being around the pool was not bearable so we used a beach nearer town - understand that this needs to happen yet Jet Two should have told us prior. We didn’t use the beach at the hotel as there were no beds but again there may be during high season. Shout out for the bar, reception and maids as they were amazing.
