Lovely hotel with magnificent views and great little beach. Would recommend for a relaxing holiday. A nice walk to Estepona along the beach. Advantage of having Aldi across the road for snacks as we were Bed & Breakfast

Nice hotel with a lovely pool area and very friendly staff. Would have been a really good experience if it wasn’t for the terrible food. The food unfortunately was the worst I’ve experienced in any hotel. This is even more frustrating with the location and no other near by options.

The staff were exceptional! So humorous and they made us feel so warmly welcomed. The reception staff & Noel the porter on arrival made us feel at home. Greeted us with a drink of our choice. My mother and I found our room had a double bed and we needed two singles. We told the hotel staff and they immediately swapped it. Manuel the porter, Diego on reception, Marta and Yasmin at the Lobby bar, Ray, Nicolleta and Karla in the kitchen, the cleaning staff... They went out of their way to make us feel happy from a geniune place. The rooms are so clean and spacious. It feels like you have an apartment. Seperate shower, toilet door and even a bath tub with double sinks and walk in warbrobe away from your sleeping area. Also the rooms have great sound proofing. We made some good friends downstairs in the lobby whom we were very exuberant (loud with) and only realised we were next to eachother as room neighbours! The layout of the hotel is spacious with a traditional feel. Communitycentric feel at Elba. It was an atmosphere that encouraged guest interaction (without being forced) by not having many modern screens or modcons. They had epic live music every night. I am a musician and I could not believe the variety and talent put on show for the guests. The spa is out of this world, with Alicia giving two of the best massages of my life! The gym is basic but good quality machines and you can focus on your work out. Brilliant choice of pools. I felt like I had entered into a lovely community but still able to have my own space. The gate to the public beach was easy to access and hotel Elba staff cleaned the hotel's side of the beach every morning. A little appreciation goes a long way for the staff. Diego was even considerate enough to ensure that we had a breakfast to go prepared as we would be missing breakfast on our last day. Taxi's were easy to order from the reception. Aldi and other local basic shops were across the road. Disliked · The lobby food/ pool cafe/ room service menu is a little stodgy, limited and quite expensive for what it is. Not much aorund nearby so feels slightly remote. It is quite a distance from Estapona centre and if you don't drive you can end up spending quite a bit on taxi's. The bus service is a little confusing but if you can handle it, then there is a service for you. It is advertised as a spa hotel and most spa hotels I've stayed at are free for guests- however, here you have a concession of 20 EUR. Not bad but it would have been nice to know this when booking or on arrival at reception. The decor is dated/ traditional and the rooms could do with a little wallpaper spruce. But honestly in a way adds to the charm... These are very minor aspects to the over all experience and would not put me off booking again.

August x 1 week, breakfast only. Hotel about 60 mins from airport. Hotel is generally very clean and reasonably well maintained. Adjacent to dual carriageway so not really suitable for walking into Estepona centre. Cab cost around 12 euros each way. Estepona centre, very nice and vibrant. Good choice of restaurants. Ditto Estepona port. Hotel has its own beach – around 30 loungers on beach. Could do with more bins for rubbish. Sea is gravelly and shelves away quite steeply. Rooms are a good size with safe. Laundry service offered. Rooms are dated and need modernising. Air conditioning had limited effect. Buffet very expensive at 38 euros per head. Did not use a la carte which alternates between Spanish and Italian. Breakfast was a bit chaotic at busy times. Good selection. Bar service often slow. Evening entertainment very average, and loud. Hotel (and parents) need to stop kids running around in hotel lobby. Spa area dated and gym limited. Hotel (and parents) need to stop kids being in gym. Pool good. Kids club available if needed. No issue at all with getting loungers. A mention particularly for Antonio on reception who went out of his way to secure a restaurant booking at the port for us. Excellent service and even continued to communicate via WhatsApp after finishing his shift.

I love Estepona and my stay at Elba amazing. The spa massages were out of this world. With Alicia that massage was amazing my body was very tired and Alicia has an amazing gift for massage, she did it with such professionalism and love and this is evident in her massage. I was exhausted and both me and my daughter felt so so relaxed. The thallasso spa and the resting room so relaxing and I used the gym as well. Thank God for Alicia her dedication and expertise just brilliant. The overall staff at the hotel are so warm friendly and absolutely love this place. The rooms are like apartments so spacious and the breakfast staff so accommodating especially the omelette making gentleman tall bald (sorry don’t know his name) very friendly . Reception staff and manager very lovely. Thanks Elba this was a birthday 🎁 treat 2 weeks 🥳🤩
