Reviews for Thalatta Seaside Hotel

Best vacation in Greece

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

in June 2025 I took my whole family from USA to Thalatta seaside hotel for a week, two reasons, I'm originally from Evia island and the good reviews I have read. It was the best decision I made. My whole family enjoyed it more than any other place in Greece we visited. The location, the personal service and the breakfast were the best. Luckily it was very quiet the second week of June and we had personal service. The staff and the managers were the best you can find, the Greek hospitality in its best. Each of our three families received a special gift, honey from the region, THANK you! The only thing that needs improvement is the lunch and dinner food. Thank you Dimitra, hope to see you again in a couple of years! Dina T.

Relaxing stay that definitely needs to be repeated

Great stay at this beach hotel. The rooms are really big, the view from the balcony is better than imagined, and the entire position of the hotel is just great for relaxing and enjoy the sun, the food, the swimming pool, the kids concierge. The offer of the restaurant and the bar is more than enough, and you can easily pass your days without leaving the hotel. We will definitely return.

Tranquility

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 months ago

This is the first time I’m writing a review while still enjoying my stay at a hotel, and the reason is simple: the service here is exceptional. The hotel staff strikes the perfect balance between being discreetly pleasant, and incredibly helpful, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and warm. A special mention goes to Stefanos, the deputy manager, who really goes out of his way to make sure every guest feels special. Thank you. Also, Eugenia, the spa specialist—she's so sweet and made my daughter feel totally comfortable during her first massage. That’s true professionalism. Finally, the hotel itself is clean and has a minimalist style that still feels elegant. While some things, like the deck chairs, aren’t brand new, the overall experience more than makes up for it. I’m definitely planning to come back. One small suggestion from my teenage daughter: adding hangers to the back of the pool toilet doors would be great.

Good modern - on the beach - great breakfast

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 months ago

Great quality and location. Remote but great swimming and good breakfast and staff. Newish hotel. Modern design. Sits on the beach. Small pool quite overcrowded. Seems extremely popular with families with kids (lol). But the beach is quieter and has service. Rooms are good and modern Breakfast of very quality just the blasting dance musing didn't match ... Overall good . Not cheap for Evia but it's July and value for money Didn't eat there . Plenty of taverna minutes away

Very nice, and yes I would go again!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed June 11, 2024

Absolutely beautiful setting, wonderfully clean, a lovely private beach , the downside is it takes 2 and half hours along narrow steep , windy roads to get there from Athens airport. The staff were all lovely, and could just about speak English, don’t expect, however, for fast service, they go they’re own pace, and the breakfast waitress would need reminding, 20 minutes later of our order.. The food, was ok, especially the breakfast, if you like eggs, it’s the place to be, your also offered a buffet table, containing , meats , cheese, fruit, biscuits, and cakes, which is included in the price of the holiday, lunch and dinner have to be paid for, and unfortunately was quite basic, and very expensive, eg , a cheese pizza for a child was €15, which wasn’t the best quality., there were no vegetables available for children either, beans peas or sweetcorn would of been helpful! We found a nice Greek restaurant in the village which sold tasty bbq meats at a reasonable price, so chose to go there more often than not. The accommodation was very nice, and the rooms were cleaned daily to an excellent standard. All in all the place was amazing, it’s just a shame about the food on offer, and the prices.
