Inn at the 5th

We enjoyed a couple of days staying at this Inn. Great restaurants nearby, a fantastic riverside walk, and a great central location to drive anywhere from Eugene.

Stayed for a 3 night getaway. Location was great, plenty of restaurants to choose from, all in walking distance. Valet parking was $25/day. Had breakfast at the Magpie each morning, a 3 minute walk. Casual and quick, just what I needed before hitting the hiking trails. The room was great, had a balcony and a fireplace. It rained all 3 days I was there, so the fireplace was nice to dry my clothes and shoes. The room was clean and had a comfortable layout. Staff were awesome and helpful with recommendations. The only bummer was the hotel guest wi-fi was terrible on the 4th floor. It got better when I switched to the 5th Street Market's network.

Inn at the 5th is really a beautiful place to stay. The room we had was lovely (although I’d say avoid room 204 if looking at the parking lot and dumpsters doesn’t appeal to you). Our bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was super modern and spacious, and the gas fireplace would probably be nice on a cool evening. The balconies are small and aren’t really a place where you’re going to hang out. The outdoor plaza on the second floor is a comfortable place to enjoy wine, conversation and the elements. The staff is excellent….from the valet guys who park your car to the housekeepers to the reception staff. They made us feel special and they were fun to talk to. The surrounding area near the hotel is primarily occupied by the 5th Street Public Market. We purchased the gift cards with our room reservation for the Provisions Market Hall. Highly recommended! Wonderful place for breakfast with delicious baked pastries, several breakfast choices, good coffee and an interesting shop to explore. We’d gladly return to the Inn at the 5th again as it’s centrally located for visiting Eugene, is situated in a safe neighborhood in which to walk with lots of dining choices, and has a wonderful vibe.

After brief search on line and checking reviews on TripAdvisor, I chose the Inn for its location and accolades. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the quality of service, cleanliness of room with amenities, and proximity to shops and restaurants. We dined at Marche Restaurant affiliated with the Inn, excellent first class dining experience.

5 stars for Brian the shuttle driver. He was very helpful and provided recommendations and suggestions for our travel needs. The shuttle was complimentary to and from the airport.
