Inn at the 5th

We took an out of town opportunity to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary in the college town of Eugene, OR. We booked a room at the Inn at the 5th and the experience was wonderful. From Cecilia at the front desk (a super star), to Tristin at the valet station helping with the baggage (such a gentleman) and Christopher who planned our in room welcome with balloons and stuff including a handwritten note that took TIME. And these are college kids who get the purpose of hospitality. The hotel owners are local and clearly have a sharp eye on service. The room was spacious (202), with an abundance of snacks and water that were gracious. Who does that? Well maintained, decor a bit tired, but very nice with actual Pendleton blankets you could borrow from the lobby to take to your room. Who does that? The value equation is more than met. Twin queen beds for $273.37 with quality service is real value. Being in the midst of campus, I can only imagine how popular this place is during the school year.

What a lovely hotel, room, location and staff! Enjoyed walking the area and shopping at the local stores. Convenient to U of O. Would love to return.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout my life, my family travelled a lot and now I travel quite a bit for work as well! I can honestly say that this is my absolute FAVORITE hotel to stay in, I will hopefully be staying at Inn at the 5th for many years to come! Cannot recommend it enough!

Do not let them put your near the one elevator that works. That thing was going ALL NIGHT long and it's a very noisy one. Other than that, the hotel is well appointed, staff were amazing, linens & towels are top notch. Food & retail options all walkable.

My go-to spot when I visit UO. The spacious rooms were comfortable, the valet speedy and accommodating, and the staff professional.
