El Conquistador Resort

I stayed at this resort with my wife and I back in March 2025, and overall, we had a great time. The price is decent, the rooms are modern and bathrooms were nice as well and not outdated, and the staff was very friendly. It’s in a good location where you can venture out and explore out as well, and the pools and water park were all enjoyable. My main criticism with the resort is the poor quality of food offerings around the resort (outside of the fine dining restaurants). Most of the food available was very underwhelming, and it’s your typical American fast food like French fries, wraps, burgers, chicken tenders, etc. Basically, the typical food you get anywhere in the US at fast food places. When I travel, this is the food that is least desirable to me, and several patrons that stayed at the resort shared this same sentiment and disappointment with the food offerings. Our family ended up having to leave the resort for the majority of my trip to eat and enjoy authentic Puerto Rican cuisine instead, and lots of others in resort did the same as well. I would recommend others to do the same if you don’t want that the food options I listed above. Honestly, I wish the resort would focus on offering less food options like this and more authentic and desirable food options that differ from anything I can easily get at any fast food restaurants in the US. However, there was one exception, and that happened when my family and I went to eat at Bono. Our waiter (Osbel) was excellent and attended us perfectly. He gave us great wine and food recommendations, and the food was easily the best quality of any other food you could find at the resort. Osbel even gathered staff and sang happy birthday to my wife. My whole dining experience was superb and this restaurant was the highlight of our dining experience when we stayed at the resort. I definitely would go back to this restaurant if I come back to this resort in the future. Overall, our family had a great time and it was an enjoyable stay.

Great for families! The waterpark was great, the lazy river, the restaurants on and off site were all good. The boat to palamino island every hour was perfect, we went to the beach every day. The staff was very nice and helpful, the weather was fantastic! (If you watch 4seasons on Netflix you will see this resort its where they seek off to down the street when they go on the camping trip). Go! Enjoy!

We stayed as a large family group in Las Brisas. It was gorgeous! We loved our balcony. The youngest in our group loved the smores, scavenger hunt, and the water park. Our teens loved playing pool, while mom loved the spa. Food on the property exceeded my expectations! It had cultural favorites but also met the needs of picky eaters. Buffet was quick and tasty. Service on the property was friendly and met our needs. I highly recommend!

Food and atmosphere were very good. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The scenery is wonderful. The night was truly made by Gilberto. His recommendations and prompt service made the night magical.
