Victoria Golf Resort & Spa

I booked an extended weekend stay at the Victoria Golf and Spa Resort to celebrate significant milestone birthdays for my husband and baby. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were met by staff who were smiling and pleasant. The check in process was very easy and we were able to make use of the free parking facilities for the car which we hired for our trip. We were kindly assisted to our room by Rafael who was one of the standout members of staff. He helped us with our bags and explained how everything in the room worked to ensure we were settled in well. Rafael also arranged for a cot to be brought to the room for the baby. The room was very spacious, simply and elegantly decorated. We were given a complimentary celebration cake with candles and a card to welcome us to the Hotel. Room service was excellent from the main restaurant. The food was fresh and portion sizes were generous. Furthermore, the breakfast was great with a variety of options. We were able to find food for our baby who has dietary requirements/allergies. The hotel staff helped to arrange a golf lesson as a birthday present for my husband at the nearby Laguna Golf Course prior to us arriving. The hotel also has a kid's club with plenty of toys for young children which our baby thoroughly enjoyed. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It was a 30 minute drive from Faro International Airport. Nearby amenities also include the marina, restaurants, beaches, shopping mall, golf courses and the supermarket Pingo Doce. We requested a later check out as our flight was in the evening and were able to check out at 2pm complimentary. We are very grateful to all of the staff for making our trip memorable and will definitely return soon! Obrigado!

Hotel located in a very nice place, rooms are big, staff good area of hotel is marvelous. I’m a member of “All Accor” as a diamond but didn’t feel it same as Asia. We participated new year eve as well but already complained about it because arrangement of tables was not correct, price for tables was a same but some people took a seat in front of stage and some others end of the hall without clear view but show was amazing, food also was not “wow” anyway.

We stayed at the hotel in May 2025 and enjoyed it so much that we went back in September. The staff are so attentive and professional. Special mention to Marta who works in the main bar. She remembered it was my husband’s birthday and so attentive. Patricia is fantastic and excellent hospitality skills. Makes us all feel so at home on a holiday. We will be back!

We had a good experience here. It is a large hotel on a golf course. We heard that golf is quite expensive there, we played elsewhere. There is a tennis court. The pool area is very large and attractive, nice bars both indoors and outdoors. The breakfast buffet is extensive and you can eat outdoors on a beautiful terrace. There are resident cats too! Rooms were comfortable and attractive and well equipped.

The service was outstanding — every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well looked after. It’s clear that much care is taken in every detail, from the warm greeting at check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay, very noticeable, The room was immaculate and beautifully maintained (cleaned twice a day) reflecting the hotel’s very high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail. Little things — like the quality of the amenities, the comfort of the bed, and the care put into the presentation — really made a positive impression. Little touches showed its class. Overall, the Victoria Golf Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way. We loved it, no chavs or screaming children.
