Victoria Golf Resort & Spa

The hotel is incredibly drab, with paint peeling off the walls throughout. I’ve stayed in far better 4-star hotels that are on par price-wise with this place. Cocktails around the pool are €17 each, which pretty much sums up the whole experience. The bar staff in the Botanico lobby bar are lovely, but that’s about the only positive. The front-of-house team in the main lobby are rude, obnoxious, and come across like they completely hate their jobs. The entire hotel feels like one big cash grab. It’s honestly one of the most soulless places I’ve ever stayed in. To make matters worse, it’s in the middle of nowhere — about a 10-minute taxi ride to the nearest bar. Unless you’re into golf, in which case you can enjoy their course for around €500 a round

We are currently staying at the hotel which is nice and has good facilities but we have had a quite few issues with housekeeping and the food choices are not what is to be expected from a five star hotel with one restaurant only open. Our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days and they didn’t replenish any water for 3 days even though we were told on check in it would happen daily. When we asked the housekeeper for more water we were told a firm no. We raised this with reception and were told the room would be cleaned while we were out instead they called at 9pm and asked could they send someone to clean the room which was not practical as we have a 1 year old baby. We also had a member of staff come in to our room unannounced at 8pm while we were trying to settle our baby and we later realised they had left the door open when they left. Other amenities like tea, coffee and milk have not been replenished during our stay. We have struggled for healthy food choices for our baby and there are no shops local. Thankfully the marina is a 10 minute drive away and only 5 euros so we have gone out quite a lot. Apart from housekeeping the other staff at both breakfast, the pool and the restaurant have all been great and accommodating. I think if they improved the restaurant offerings ( I believe one restaurant is currently closed) and the housekeeping then this would push the hotel closer to 5 star.

Nice clean hotel but extras are beyond belief pay for every thing two tea bags sugar milk in room one drink and it's gone pay extra if you want more pay for water in restaurant not a good menu selection very repetitive same menu all our stay breakfast was very good and can not fault it just the evening meal that was terrible the rooms were outstanding clean and the beds were so nice and comfy to sleep in it is a beautiful hotel it's just the evening meals being repetitive and having to pay extra for everything that should be included when you are half board sorry but I couldn't wait to leave to be honest

This was truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The resort is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a luxurious atmosphere throughout. The location is excellent, peaceful and well-situated, yet still convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The staff were exceptional, very welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the room was incredibly comfortable. There are so many great amenities to enjoy, making it easy to relax and fully unwind. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely stay here again.

What can I say absolutely outstanding hotel very relaxing and the staff are so nice and helpful ,the food was lovely and the beds were nice and soft, rooms were amazing and got a free upgrade 😀
