Spent the weekend with some friends, amazing experience, loved every single bit of it. Special regards to João, who welcomed us with the warmest of smiles. By the recommendation of some friends, we visited Botanic Bar and let me tell you: Some of the best service I have ever experienced in my life. Very special thanks to Edgar for catering to us some of the best bespoke cocktails ever. We will be back soon definitely to try some more!

We stayed here two years ago when it was still under Anantara, and it was absolutely amazing. Based on that experience, we decided to return this year—but in hindsight, the change in ownership should have been a warning sign. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t live up to our previous one. Our room had visible mold, and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, which made the space feel poorly maintained. More generally, the building itself looked quite tired, with dirty walls that could really do with a fresh coat of paint. Also worth noting: if the weather is bad, you have to pay extra to use the indoor pool, and access is limited to hourly time slots, which felt quite restrictive. On the positive side, the food was still very good, and there were some truly amazing staff members who did their best to make the stay enjoyable. Overall, a mixed experience this time around, and not quite what we had hoped for given our previous visit.

From start to finish the bar hospitality has been fantastic! Recommendations, excellent drinks and really special service. We have had such cool drinks and the quality of cocktails is unreal. I run my own hospitality business in England and this bar is wonderful! Special team

I booked an extended weekend stay at the Victoria Golf and Spa Resort to celebrate significant milestone birthdays for my husband and baby. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were met by staff who were smiling and pleasant. The check in process was very easy and we were able to make use of the free parking facilities for the car which we hired for our trip. We were kindly assisted to our room by Rafael who was one of the standout members of staff. He helped us with our bags and explained how everything in the room worked to ensure we were settled in well. Rafael also arranged for a cot to be brought to the room for the baby. The room was very spacious, simply and elegantly decorated. We were given a complimentary celebration cake with candles and a card to welcome us to the Hotel. Room service was excellent from the main restaurant. The food was fresh and portion sizes were generous. Furthermore, the breakfast was great with a variety of options. We were able to find food for our baby who has dietary requirements/allergies. The hotel staff helped to arrange a golf lesson as a birthday present for my husband at the nearby Laguna Golf Course prior to us arriving. The hotel also has a kid's club with plenty of toys for young children which our baby thoroughly enjoyed. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It was a 30 minute drive from Faro International Airport. Nearby amenities also include the marina, restaurants, beaches, shopping mall, golf courses and the supermarket Pingo Doce. We requested a later check out as our flight was in the evening and were able to check out at 2pm complimentary. We are very grateful to all of the staff for making our trip memorable and will definitely return soon! Obrigado!

Hotel located in a very nice place, rooms are big, staff good area of hotel is marvelous. I’m a member of “All Accor” as a diamond but didn’t feel it same as Asia. We participated new year eve as well but already complained about it because arrangement of tables was not correct, price for tables was a same but some people took a seat in front of stage and some others end of the hall without clear view but show was amazing, food also was not “wow” anyway.
