Strategically located just 25 minutes from Fès Airport, the Riad Fès exudes an air of refined serenity amid the bustle of the city. A perfect example of Hispanic-Moorish architecture, the stylish hotel is arranged around four distinct patios. Ornate courtyards ranging from sober baroque to dazzling mosaic patterns and an impressive Fassi lamp flanked by artfully carved stucco arches fuse Andalusian whimsy with age-old Moroccan design. Begin your day on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the Medina with its minarets against blue skies and the gentle green curves of the Atlas Mountains beyond. All 30 rooms are individually decked out in sumptuous textiles and warm-hued wooden furnishings. Filigreed bedside lamps next to traditionally carved or tufted precious cloth headboards reflect meticulous attention to detail, enhanced by must-have modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen satellite televisions, and elegant Tadelakt or Italian Carrara marble bathrooms with plush bathrobes and slippers. The Riad Fés beckons you to relax in lavish oriental style at its Spa by Cinq Mondes. Unwind by the outdoor pool, in the cleansing steam of the Hammam or take that much-needed time-out and book a pampering massage.

Had a lovely visit to the Riad. Top notch food and drink throughout. The team works hard to put a smile on your face. Located right outside the Medina in a great spot to see everything. The hotel hired guides for inside and outside(in car) the Medina who were excellent and full of information. We enjoyed the accommodations and the food throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and had a great buffet set up along with egg dishes. We also enjoyed the restaurant which had a man playing the oud. The rooftop bar is a great way to end the evening.

Riad Fes is a stunning boutique hotel that lies in the middle of the Medina of Fes. It's just a short distance to the souks and many historic areas. The Fes el-Bali medina is a huge UNESCO labyrinth (no cars) of over 9000 alleys. Your taxi will take you to the nearest drop off where the staff from Riad Fes will unload and transport your luggage to the hotel. Once inside, you will then wait in this amazing breathtaking area open to the second floor. Pictures do not do this space justice. This huge room has gorgous intricate tilework, carved wood and ornate plasterwork with an exquisite central chandelier. You are seated in luxurious red couches and given mint tea and the best cookies I've ever tasted. The staff are very professional, curtious, and attentive and the whole Riad was meticulously clean. Our room was on a terrace full of beautiful blooming potted plants. Our room entrance was unique as there were stairs leading to a large deluxe subterranean room. We felt like we were in a secret garden. We had one large window that let in light and a smaller one that overlooked the pool. The large bath continued with beautiful mosaic tile double sinks, shower and separate tub. Our room also had a sitting area where fresh fruit, dates, almonds and water were replenished daily. The included breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty including meats, cheeses, traditional breads, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, and so on. They prepared your coffee, tea, juice as requested so that took a bit of time. The pool area was quite pleasant and the roof top bar had a far reaching view of Fes and the Atlas mountains. Overall rating 9/10, highly highly reccommend!

Beautiful riad in the heart of the city. Nice, warm hospitality. Lovely restaurant on the lobby level. Beautiful rooftop for cocktails in the evening.

A quiet, well-appointed room overlooking the pool by the bar/breakfast room for two nights....splendid. Elegant without being pretentious, and staff that was helpful without being obsequious.

From the reviews and online photos, expected Riad Fes to be luxurious and beautiful but it surpassed our expectations! The architecture and interior of the Riad is breathtaking! It feels like you are visiting a meticulously restored historical landmark. Our room was spacious and artfully decorated, and it was just a regular room not even a suite! We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Gayza restaurant. The surroundings are beautiful, with tables set around the courtyard pool. There was live traditional Morrocan music and the food was delicious. That’s also where breakfast is served, so you can enjoy the space even if you don’t have dinner there. The rooftop terrace is well worth a visit, with panoramic view of the Medina. We made good use of the swimming pool to cool off. It’s large enough with quite a few deck chairs, so there was always enough space for everyone. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Fes, it’s the whole package!
