Strategically located just 25 minutes from Fès Airport, the Riad Fès exudes an air of refined serenity amid the bustle of the city. A perfect example of Hispanic-Moorish architecture, the stylish hotel is arranged around four distinct patios. Ornate courtyards ranging from sober baroque to dazzling mosaic patterns and an impressive Fassi lamp flanked by artfully carved stucco arches fuse Andalusian whimsy with age-old Moroccan design. Begin your day on the rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the Medina with its minarets against blue skies and the gentle green curves of the Atlas Mountains beyond. All 30 rooms are individually decked out in sumptuous textiles and warm-hued wooden furnishings. Filigreed bedside lamps next to traditionally carved or tufted precious cloth headboards reflect meticulous attention to detail, enhanced by must-have modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen satellite televisions, and elegant Tadelakt or Italian Carrara marble bathrooms with plush bathrobes and slippers. The Riad Fés beckons you to relax in lavish oriental style at its Spa by Cinq Mondes. Unwind by the outdoor pool, in the cleansing steam of the Hammam or take that much-needed time-out and book a pampering massage.

This riad was stunning, the details are amazingly aesthetically appealing, the stained glass windows gave the most stunning reflection when the sun was shining in. Our room was also beautiful with many small Moroccan touches. The bed was comfortable with different types of pillows which I really appreciated. Our room had delicious Moroccan cookies and dates. What i really loved was our bathroom, it had black soap and clay, I really did want to try this before purchasing, riad Fes gave me the chance. We were welcomed by Anwar who greeted us with sparkling wine and Moroccan nibbles. He provided us with good information on Fes. The staff service is excellent at riad fes. Anwar and Maha were very hospitable. You must try the Moroccan Rose cocktail made by the barman Abdul, it probably was the best cocktail Iv had. The breakfast was also delicious, there is a continental buffet, and you can also order hot breakfast too which was included in our stay. I really did appreciate the porter Abdulraq. He was helpful with our luggage, our car was parked quite far.

We stayed at the Riad Fes - Relais & Châteaux for a short two-night visit to the old city, and it was a truly lovely experience. Despite the summer heat, the riad provided a cool, peaceful, and relaxing retreat from the vibrant streets of the medina. We were kindly upgraded to a beautiful suite, which made our stay feel extra special. The riad itself is stunning, with classic Fassi architecture, intricate tilework, and a serene atmosphere that reflects the spirit of traditional Fes. A real highlight of our stay was dinner at the hotel’s Gayza restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious – rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and made with care. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. As a family with a three-year-old child, we were also grateful for how welcoming the staff were. While the old city may not be the easiest place for young kids, the riad itself made us feel very comfortable and supported throughout. Highly recommended for those looking to enjoy the charm of Fes in a refined, authentic, and family-friendly setting

Riad Fès – Relais & Châteaux is one of the finest places I’ve ever stayed. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re immersed in a world of refined luxury, historic beauty, and top-tier hospitality. The riad itself is stunning – elegant courtyards, ornate tilework, and a rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the Fès medina. The ambiance is classy, serene, and timeless. The service was impeccable, and Anouar deserves special recognition. He brought an incredible level of care and sophistication to everything he did, from warm hospitality to crafting cocktails that would rival NYC institutions like The Dead Rabbit or Employees Only. Each evening was elevated by his presence and talent. The spa and pool offer a peaceful retreat, and the restaurant delivers beautifully executed Moroccan cuisine in a stunning setting. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful and seamless. Traveler tip: Be sure to call ahead before your arrival – you can’t drive directly to the riad. There’s a nearby area where you can park briefly to unload, and the staff will graciously assist you with your bags. It’s all part of the smooth, welcoming experience that makes this place so special. If you’re visiting Fès and want a stay that blends luxury, authenticity, and heart — Riad Fès is the one. We can’t wait to return.

One of the most beautiful, serene, welcoming and hospitable hotels I have ever visited. The staff could not be more accommodating; the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and maintained and the facilities are top-notch. Sublime.

Beautiful. Looking back I would never stay in a hotel in the Medina. Super noisy. Weird set up. Service was extremely slow. Housekeeping lacking. They care. Just can’t step up. Koby is beautiful and the may serve the most insane cookies with the tea.
