ONE OF THE BEST - Enjoy Fez Like a Royal

We had an AMAZING stay at Riad Maison Bleue & Spa. Highly recommend the first floor suites - photos included in this review. The staff were always very helpful, even when there were a few hiccups with transport and tour guides - make sure to ask for the best possible price (and do some price checking) when arranging ground transfers and ensure your driver/tour guide speaks your primary language (in our case english). The restaurant was excellent - food and service were terrific. The riad is conveniently located along the Souk and Medina. Highly recommend asking the riad to arrange a tour of the Medica with a guide - else you WILL get lost, although Google Maps is somewhat helpful navigating if you can get a good signal. LOVED the riad's COOKING CLASS. Sign up for this! Sophia, Fatima, Fouzia, and Nassir are AMAZING teachers and we laughed and sang as we made • Entrée: Chicken Tajine • Salad Trio: Carrot, Eggplant, Green Pepper • Side: Bread (Khubz) • Dessert: Milk Bastilla Disappointed that the riad's hammam was out of service, hope it gets fixed soon - ended up going to the hammam at Riad Fes - Relais & Châteaux which worked out just fine.

This is the most incredible Riad- the decor and rooms felt luxurious and authentic, but what stands this hotel out from others, is the continuous personal service. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Every day the team looked after all our needs - always with a smile. We loved the pool, the spa services, the concierge team that booked and arranged tours, drivers and experiences, the beautiful kitchen team that delivered our cooking class, and the housekeeping team that ensured our room was immaculate! We felt part of this beautiful family. Can’t recommend this Riad enough!! If you are visiting Fes - this is a must!

I enjoyed the visit but, this is not the Marriott in Beverly Hills. I think you need to remember where you are in the world. Be flexible with expectations if you’re picky about food or luxury this isn’t for you. All the staff were courteous but will be very clear about limitations available. I believe they do the best they can.

Amazing Riad, good location on the edge of Medina, great and confortable rooms with local decoration and fantastic and friendly staff. The hamman in the spa was also amazing and the restaurant has great views and delicious local dishes.

More than a great hotel.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever been in. The staff responds instantly to any request. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are amazing. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Fes.
