Fes, once the political capital of Morocco and now the country's cultural and spiritual center, was founded in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world. Live like the Marinids who once ruled this city when you check into the luxurious Riad Myra. Filled with madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains dating from the 13th and 14th centuries, Fes is an exotic and historically rich city that offers a feast for the senses. Impeccably restored in close conformity with Moroccan history, culture and the art of Moorish architecture, Riad Myra has been transformed to its former glory and splendor. Experience Moroccan hospitality in the most gracious and luxurious accommodations.

I stayed 10 months ago, I was so happy with my stay I said I would add a review and failed to do it, so I would like to apologise to Chaymae, Nouria who looked after my Japanese friend and I so wonderfully. A special thank you also goes to Karima who gave us the best hamam experience ever. She makes all her treatments herself following her grandmother 's recipes. The room, the breakfast, the dining atea, the Riad as a whole are a great place to be. I will be visiting again for sure and thank you again for a lovely stay.

We loved this place. The entry is through a nondescript alley after a fairly long walk from our car. Our driver had called ahead for help with the luggage. You enter into a stunning courtyard. After a very friendly greeting they led us upstairs to the “Vizier” room which we later heard was their biggest. It was huge and very nicely furnished. The walls and floors had more tile than I have ever seen. The windows look out on the aisle and courtyard so we kept the shutters closed. But the sumptuous room was enough. Dinner that night was quiet and good. We spent 2 nights here and loved the place and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very average. Positives: room was comfortable. Picturesque internal courtyard. Communal coffee machine available to use. Quiet central location. Negatives: Staff are bewildered. Breakfast was poor. Limited selection of food eg, microwaved stale bread and jam. Stay at Riad Fes instead bc they have a pool.

Very very nice. Rooms are very large, service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean We had an early morning schedule, about 1 jour before normal breakfast, but we were accommodated to meet our schedule. We ate at the Riad both of the nights we were there. Beautiful surroundings, great service and delicious food. Great experience

Riad Myra has to be one of the finest small hotels inside the walled city. Once you make your way through the maze of the Fes medina to the hotel, you are pleasantly welcomed and shown an incredibly beautiful, well-appointed suite. Every room was outstanding - from the huge wooden doors and plaster grillework to the famous Moroccan tiled bathrooms. The private hamman is a real treat - don't miss it!
