Lovely hotel nestled in the hills of Florence.

Pleasant hotel nestled in the hills of Florence! With regular private or public transportation to Florence. Views were outstanding and attention was over the top especially at the breakfast with Nicola with such attention to you like I’ve never seen at any 5 star restaurant!

Exceptional stay at FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole with warm service and unforgettable moments

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed at FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole from 30 September to 4 October 2025 as a group of six adults and one seven-month-old baby. From the moment we arrived after our transfer from Rimini, we were greeted by the spectacular Francesca, who immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. She handled our check-in across three rooms with ease, ensured our baggage was delivered, and invited us to relax on the patio overlooking Florence with cocktails and snacks before we explored Fiesole for dinner. Every return to the hotel was met with a warm welcome that made us feel completely at home. Our rooms were spacious, clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. Each room came with soft robes and slippers, a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more relaxing. The housekeeping team was impressively prompt. By the time we returned from breakfast each morning, our rooms had already been serviced and refreshed. One of our rooms had a minor issue with the shower that could not be fully repaired until the final day. While we were able to work around it by using the other two rooms, Francesca kindly credited the couple in that room for one night without us even asking. That gesture spoke volumes about the care and service provided here. Breakfast each day was a treat. The staff seated us on the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed a great variety of food in a relaxed setting. The breakfast crew, front desk team, and housekeepers greeted us each morning with friendly smiles and warm conversation. This daily hospitality added a personal and welcoming feel that we truly appreciated. One afternoon we took advantage of the beautiful warm pool, set in a peaceful, scenic area that overlooks the hills and Florence beyond. The pool area felt private and serene, perfect for a quiet break during busy travel days. One evening, we ordered room service and enjoyed a relaxed dinner in our rooms, which was both convenient and delicious. A highlight of our stay was a private winery and olive producer tour arranged by Francesca. The drive in a vintage Land Rover through the beautiful countryside, combined with the scenery, wine tasting, and olive oil selections, created an unforgettable experience. Another example of the staff’s care was their help in navigating regional and national transportation strikes that occurred during our visit. Thanks to their guidance and quick assistance, we were able to keep our ambitious travel plans on track. FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole is not just a beautiful hillside retreat with incredible views of Florence. It is a place where the staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Francesca and her team turned what could have been an ordinary stay into a memorable and enjoyable experience. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Tuscany. Rating: 5/5 If you are looking for a stay near Florence that combines comfort, hospitality, and a sense of personal care, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Good Property, Great People

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

It is a beautiful property at a great location. The rooms are very good. The breakfast is decent. Above all the people are amazing. I would like to call out Francesca at the reception - very knowledgable, extremely hospitable, helpful, warm and friendly - I had a small medical issue and Francesca helped connect with the doctor in seconds. I would also like to thank the team at breakfast as well as the bar - again very warm, hospitable and friendly. I have given a rating of 4 and not higher is because of the check-in experience - the gentleman who checked us in allocated a room different from what we had booked and I had to be very pushy to get what we had booked! The lack of transparency and attempt to give us a mower category room left a bit of a bad taste. Overall I strongly recommend the hotel.

Peaceful retreat close to Florence

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I cannot say enough about how attentive and friendly the staff was. Staying here really felt like a luxury experience. My favorite part was breakfast every morning on the beautiful terrace overlooking Florence. We had a group of five friends and Niccola memorized all our coffee orders and gave us champagne on our last morning. The pool is a lovely retreat, but just sitting on the terrace drinking wine or an Aperol spritz was fantastic. Fiesole is about a 15 minute walk away and fun to explore though you do have to walk along a busy road. We loved the restaurants in town and don't miss the Convent San Francesco at the top of the hill. Staying up here was a nice escape from busy Florence, but it's easy to get a cab or take the shuttle into town.

Charming place to stay right outside of Florence.

This place was perfect if you want to be close to Florence. It was Very peacefula d picturesque. We Had an issue with our room but staff was very attentive on every level. The view of Tuscany is beautiful. The rooms are small but clean. I would suggest renting a car if you plan on leaving the hotel. The shuttle times book up and we spent a lot of extra money in taxis. Beautiful trip and would definitely recommend this place for the $$$ Shout out to Gianni and the rest of the staff for accommodating all of our needs.
