An Absolute Gem!
I am so glad I booked this hotel as a relaxing break in the middle of our Italy travels. From the beautiful hotel grounds and breathtaking views to the exceptional staff, comfortable room, and delicious food, everything was truly wonderful. My husband and I desperately needed some time to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being together, and this hotel was absolutely perfect for that. The entire experience felt special from beginning to end. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already wishing we could stay longer. We would absolutely love to return!

What a great place - high on the hill overlooking Florence. Great attention from Francesca and the best gin and tonics from Cristoffolo ! Well be back.

If visiting Florence, and would like to take a break from the city at the end of the day, I highly recommend staying at FH55 Villa Fiesole. Had an amazing room off the terrace, but it was the staff who made it so wonderful. Very attentive and friendly, always a warm smile. Free shuttle down and back from the center (have to book ahead). Bus out front. Arranged taxi service. Great food. Terrace overlooks the city of Florence, with the Duomo straight center. We sat outside on the terrace every evening enjoying the breeze, wine, and food. One of us were relieved of their wallet and passport, thankfully they had a paper copy of their passport. The front desk made calls in the evening and morning to help with securing an emergency passport. 1 suggestion, make copies of all your documents and carry two passport photos with you. Will greatly help with securing an emergency passport.

Check for air conditioning !!!
A September visit: HOT and they turned off the air conditioning, telling us it was a government mandate’ which is not true. Opening the windows let in mosquitoes which made our stay miserable. They gave us a fan which did not help. Sorry to say, with all the good things about this place, this overshadowed them.

Elegant and Quiet Getaway
We loved our stay! The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful location up the hill from Florence. The free shuttle made it easy to go into town. The hotel was elegant and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return!
