COMO Laucala Island is an extraordinary natural paradise in Fiji — one of the world’s largest private island resorts, with just 25 villas. It recalibrates the idea of luxury. It does this by opening up what is becoming increasingly rare: time and space, on your terms. At COMO Laucala Island, Residence interiors are softly curved and full of free-flowing shapes. Thatched roofs are made from the leaves of sago palms, floors are laid with local timber, and the spaces also feature ‘balabala’ fern stems and a traditional coconut husk weave known as ‘magimagi’.

This was our second stay at Laucala. My wife and I went last year for our 40th anniversary thinking this would be a "bucket list" one time experience (it is VERY expensive). We loved it so much we went back this year with our son and grandson. Laucala Island is a magical place. It is all inclusive, with boating, wake boarding, horseback riding, snorkeling, sailing and even an 18 hole championship caliber golf course (the golf is incredible since there is usually only around 15-25 people there). But what REALLY makes it special is the staff. They couldn't be nicer or more accommodating, including special private dinners for our anniversary and more. One example is that my wife brought a medical device which was only 110 volts. We spoke to them about it, and the next morning they delivered a brand new one that the had obtained on Nadi and flew over on a charter flight! They even offered not to charge us (I had already agreed to the very reasonable price) and said they could keep it for future guests! If I could only go to one place in the world for vacation, this would be it!

At this point actually I don’t know how to find a right words to describe this Island. I didn’t expect that much about the Island also my 1st time going to Fiji. Turns out everything was b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l :) The Island, room, food, service was the best, I had Nicole to braid my hair everyday, I’ll never forget that :) Drive our own buggy around the resort, play tennis, had a nice spa. We had a yacht trip, do the Island hopping, oh I loooooove it, it’s natural, good weather, good hospitality everything’s great. I would come and visit again, see you next time Lacaula Island.

Laucala is one of the once in a lifetime must dos! This is pure exclusivity but in the best way of its meaning, you feel like at home while every wish is been taken care of. Yeah, as a almost 20 year old resort, we are looking forward to it’s planned renovation. Due to highest quality there is no actual need, but it will be an upgrade. The team and their friendliness are one of a kind. Thanks to Bose, Rupeni, Jerry, Gordon and all the other great folks. Will cu again.

A true urban sanctuary! The way they've managed to create such a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the city is remarkable. The spa-like bathrooms, the heavenly bedding, and the subtle aromatherapy throughout the property created a multi-sensory experience. The 24-hour gourmet café was an unexpected bonus for late-night cravings.

What a revelation to find a place that so perfectly balances modern luxury with genuine hospitality. The staff's profound understanding of service excellence was evident in every interaction, while the physical space managed to be both impressive and welcoming. The attention to detail extended from the grand gestures to the smallest touches, creating an experience that felt both indulgent and authentic
