Wholesome stay with memories you'll cherish forever

It's gonna be hard to outdo this one. I'm already thinking about coming back. I came here as a stranger on the first day, but I left as family. Everyone gave me such a warm welcome that it truly felt like coming home. From the first "Bula!" to the last "Moce mada😭", I truly enjoyed my experience here. Vuli even got us special tea to help with our upset tummies after accidentally ingesting river water from the Navua River. Amena and the rest of the concierge team were so patient and accommodating with any plan changes, not just due to sickness, but also due to me changing my mind about the activities. I ended up going snorkeling 3 different times with guides! I'm not the strongest swimmer, but Bale, Masi, and Andrea really made me feel so comfortable in the open water. I loved seeing the wildlife at the Beqa lagoon, and the coral nursery near the resort! The entire resort was also very clean and as a gardener myself, I really enjoyed talking to Vereti, Save, and Pio about the different plants around the resort and at the tei tei. And thank you for the fresh sugarcane! And I just know Saki and Suli hate to see us coming for all of those activities at the cultural center hahaha (just kidding) The resort offered plenty of complimentary activities for the guests, and I sure took advantage of every one that we could. From headband making to the Burelotu hike, if it was on the schedule, I was there hahaha and yes, even the ones that were meant for the children like mangrove planting! We are lailais at heart and Tina and Sai really welcomed us. My favorite was culture night. I loved the meke show and that guests were invited to dance along at the end. I even received a headband from one of the dancers. The food was delicious. Chef's dishes are to die for! And speaking of food, I'd be remiss not to mention how DIVINE Chef Ben's BBQ at the Cliffside Sunset Dinner was. I keep thinking about the lamb and the lobster. Oh and I can't forget the private kava ceremony. What a fun night! Sota tale for sure!

Outstanding resort

From the warm welcome on arrival, the hospitality and attentive touch’s never stopped. Fantastic people who make your stay comfortable and warm, everyone knows your name and for the time you’re there you feel really special. Room standard was excellent and the ‘Villa Mamma’ Mere looked after us brilliantly. Amenities are good, great service at bar and restaurant, but what really made the difference was the way the team just come over and check on you, chat to you - and always on first name terms… really makes the difference. We treated ourselves to tree top dining, it’s expensive but if you have a special occasion it’s a lovely thing to do. Would visit again in a flash! It’s pure luxury, comfort, easy and enjoyable.. for a few days to escape reality, this is perfect. Top tip, we flew into Nadi. Stayed near the airport night one and then hired a car. Driving in Fiji is simple and safe. It was cheaper than taxis and gave us flexibility - we also drove to Suva and if you’re in the area longer there is lots to see off the open road.

An absolute paradise

We had the very great privilege of staying at Nanuku Resort near Pacific Harbour. We were welcomed almost like Royalty ! The staff there made us feel so welcome it was indeed a tearful goodbye with the wonderful rendition of the Fiji farewell song Isa lei. Our room was 6star plus and the facilities the very best in our 24 years of visiting Fiji. Our welcome included an official welcome by the Resort’s Ratu and a guided tour of all the facilities. Fishing tours from the resort, jet ski’s, an Ecco walk and a beautiful dining area. Our room was stunning with a view out over the bay, not to mention the superbly comfortable four poster king size bed, with a bathroom large enough to hold a party in. Given the opportunity and health we will definitely return to this Fijian Paradise. Vinaka Vaka Levu Everyone
