Nanuku Resort

Sooo many service issues, and they do not care about fixing them. By the time we got to the resort it was about midnight. The driver had been amazing, but right when we got there the two people at the front desk, wanted us to go straight to our room and not get checked in. I wanted to get out of the car and at least find out where the breakfast restaurant was and what the hours were. They didn’t seem thrilled with that, but we did end up checking in that night. One of the Hotel workers went with us in our car to check us into our room. The tour was so incredibly brief, we didn’t even really understand if the Casita in the back was part of our room or not. We ended up having to call back to the Front Desk to find out if that was part of what we had paid for, which we had. Very odd start. Then we had made a bunch of Spa reservations directly through the hotel. When we showed up to do our reservations, without telling us, they had changed our facials to massages because they said that that was included in the package we booked with the travel agent. We did not know that, and obviously would’ve wanted to be consulted, considering they completely change the service. They did end up scrambling and giving us facials, so we ended up being fine with that. More issues with the Spa though. Since we did have these two other free massages included in our package, I booked massages for my Husband and I on another day. They had initially told us that we could have a late checkout that day until 4 PM. They later came back to us and said no, we had to be out by 11 AM. At that point, I wanted to cancel my massage because I didn’t want to deal with showering in a public space after that. I went and told the front desk very clearly to cancel my massage and not my Husbands. I then went by the Spa the next morning spoke to a manager at the resort to confirm to cancel my massage, not my husbands. When we showed up to do the Spa, of course they had canceled both massages and the spa Manager wouldn’t even come out to speak to us and kept sending an employee out. Incredibly unprofessional for a resort like this. This was our checkout day so we just said forget it and left. We had a bunch of issues at the restaurant of slow service, and one night they brought us the wrong bottle of wine (not what we ordered) and then tried to make us pay the difference for their mistake. Very uncomfortable. To top everything off, our final day was horrible. They said we had to be out by 11am, so we had everything packed up and rushed to get it that way. They didn't even show up until after Noon to get our luggage after multiple phone calls. They tried to make it better by offering us a free lunch, but they had already told us that was included in the package the day before. When we were finally leaving, an attendant at the front tried to load us in a van to go to the wrong airport! Just sooooo many communication issues and service issues. They have no interest in fixing them and are not proactive at all. Probably the worst service I have received at a luxury resort. Would never go back and would not recommend.

An incredible 5 star experience, the location, the staff, the rooms, the food, the activities, the cleanliness and presentation were all incredible and amounted to the best holiday. I would return here in a heartbeat, such a special place, truly unforgettable.

Highly Recommend Nanuku Resort! We had an incredible family holiday. The kids club and nannies are exceptional. We could truly relax without the kids knowing that they were safe and looked after and having a really fun time doing all the activities provided. The villa was pure luxury and the staff kindly put up a pool fence around the swimming pool in order to put our mind at ease with the children. All the food was delicious and the amenities at the club house were fantastic. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nanuku is definitely worth the longer drive from the airport. We will definitely be back!

My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Nanuku. The experience truly lived up to our expectations. The Grand Villa was exceptional—spacious, beautifully presented, immaculate, and set in stunning surroundings. The staff were warm and welcoming, with excellent service throughout our stay. The food was outstanding and certainly one of the highlights of our experience. A wonderful family getaway and a truly memorable stay at Nanuku.
