Reviews for Nanuku Resort

The best holiday resort ever!

Nanuku is a must-go if you are planning your holiday. Very thoughtful and welcoming staff. We enjoyed it so much!!!!! They turn a holiday resort into a home we never wanted to leave.

Not a five star resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Hotel staff extremely friendly, excellent housekeeping with clean room, nice room with a view, on the beach. The negative - truck road noise from highway. Restaurant service terrible and food mediocre. Most evenings one would order a meal and over an hour later it would show up and be cold. Lunch service a tad better. Orders not always correct either. It's more a three star resort than a five star for the price one pays.

Nanuku Paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed here as a result of an auction package bought through Winspire travel agency. We are so lucky to have found this place. Nanuku is a magical resort with the friendliest staff on the planet. We cannot wait to return and were so sad to leave. Even with some days of rain and wind we still felt like we were at the most beautiful place in the world. It truly was a special experience that is hard to replicate anywhere else in the world. We stayed at another resort on a different part of the island and it paled in comparison. We truly felt immersed in the culture and community of this little paradise. The food was wonderful, the staff were incredible - so kind and generous. The location was like no other. The excursions and activities were once in a lifetime experiences. It's truly hard to put it into words how wonderful this trip was. Highly recommend adding this to your bucket list for life. Vinaka Nanuku!

We had an incredible stay at Nanuku for our family of 5! The staff there made our holiday our best yet- they are so warm and friendly and incredible with the kids.

Beachfront villa was incredible and we had a great time!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The 2 bedroom beachfront villa was immaculate and very comfortable. The amenities and twice daily service were above expectations. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. Food was inconsistent though; lunch menu was great but dining experience was not high standard especially for the price. Activities staff (Suli, Simi and Liti) were brilliant but the game-fishing experience was let down by the fishing tackle being insufficient for catching game-fish, only good for lagoon fish, and even then the reels need replacing as the deckhand had to bring the line in with his hands which means the guest does not get the fishing experience. We loved the adventure hike to the waterfall and the One Mile snorkelling. Be aware that the weather on the south side of the island is different to the western side, and can be overcast and colder than expected. When visiting, we highly recommend the helicopter transfer; it was a highlight!
