Enchanting World Class Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We have stayed at FS Firenze a few times, and it is just beautiful and each time we return it is even better than the time before. This time my only regret is that I did not book for a longer stay - a week or so. It is a vintage hotel of real heritage and soul, one of the best in the world. Creating a luminous magic and comfort for the guest. The service and staff are beyond compare. Every guest feels so treasured and cared for. Every detail is taken care of. I can not tell you how much I adore this hotel, and I am already planning a returning visit. I miss Florence, and long to return.

Oasis - best city hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This must be the greatest city hotel in the world. The balance of the backyard garden and pool with the easy walking distance to the heart of the city, makes you feel like you’re in a true Oasis nestled in the the birth place of art. The “ renaissance” of the city permeates through the walls and gardens of the hotel. You wake up feeling inspired in gorgeous, warm, cozy yet inspiring rooms. A four seasons bed can never disappoint, as it a cloud that envelops you. The staff are excellent- dedicated, caring, personable - willing to always get to know you and customize your stay. They pay attention, create a kind environment, and are genuinely interested in making sure you have the greatest time there, I have been to many hotels and had diverse experiences, and I can say that this staff care. The location is unmatched. I look forward to visiting again.

Four Seasons Firenze a Luxury Palace Hotel in Florence!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Four Seasons Firenze has always been on my bucket list. A Four Seasons Manager told me it was his favorite property. It is a beautiful example of historic Florentine Renaissance architecture housed in a 15th-century Renaissance palace. The architecture is elegant, with stone façades, arches, columns, and large courtyards. Inside the hotel there are frescoed ceilings, ornate decorations, carved stone, antique floors, and vaulted rooms. One of its most important features is the large historic garden. It will surely take your breath away! The flowers throughout the hotel are truly spectacular. We booked the newly renovated rooms. The furnishings and décor are stunning. The marble bathrooms have a large soaking tub and walk in shower. The luxurious down duvets bedding was fabulous! The toiletries were divine. Everything in the rooms is of the finest quality. There were welcome treats upon arrival and during our stay and we received lovely gifts from The Guest Experience Team that was so thoughtful. The hotel has a large magnificent outdoor pool in the gardens which we used every day. The bar had great drinks there too. I wrote the hotel in advance of my stay to plan suggested activities, restaurants, renting SUV’s for Tuscany, tickets for the train to Venice etc. and the Concierge Team responded quickly and in great detail especially all my correspondence with Matthew Silvestri who was amazing. He sure got a big Hug for me when I saw him at the hotel! The hotel has a complimentary shuttle that runs every hour that drops you off at Piazza della Repubblica that takes 10 minutes to get there. Return shuttle picks up at same location. Housekeeping cleaned our room to perfection two times a day. Their service was outstanding. We enjoyed eating dinner at their outdoor restaurant -Trattoria Al Fresco restaurant facing the pool. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We had breakfast every morning at Il Palagio Restaurant where there was a small buffet and also you can order a la carte. I have one suggestion for the culinary team they need to improve and enlarge the buffet including the croissants and all the pastries. You need to go see the Four Seasons Taormina and see how they do their breakfast buffet. This is the only thing that was disappointing in our stay at the hotel. The hotel has won many awards including being ranked #9 in The World's 50 Best Hotels 2025. Michelin Guide gave it Three Keys, the highest hotel distinction and a 5-Star Rating from the Forbes Travel Guide. I want to thank the staff that made our stay so special: Director of Rooms: Natanaele Sansone- thank you for taking care of my family and it was a pleasure to meet you! Concierge Team: Matthew, Giuseppe, Barbara, Giovanni, Serita, Lorenzo, Niccolò, Valeria and Francesca Bellman: Mariano and Nicola Reception check in: Michelle Breakfast: Madaline, Francesca and Elyar- Breakfast Manager/Costanza Al Fresco Restaurant Waiter: Lorenzo – you were fabulous! Assistant Restaurant Manager: Vincenzo Barbato Restaurant Manager Food and Beverage: Mario Esposito Guest Experience Team: Loved the luggage tags! Bar Pool: Diego

Perfection! Magical stay in Florence

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My stay was absolute perfection, truly one of my finest hotel experiences. The hotel is composed of two elegant palazzos set within the most beautiful gardens- an oasis of calm and relaxation in bustling Florence. It was difficult to want to leave the hotel! The staff is exceptional, especially Valentina at check in. She upgraded me as a special treat for my daughter to a stunning Renaissance suite. We felt like princesses! Valentina and all of the staff welcomed us as friends not just guests. The young men at the door were also so friendly and helpful and when we mentioned we were walking to get sandwiches, they brought us wonderful hand rowels to take with us. So thoughtful. The suite was exquisite, and we loved the wonderful breakfast served each morning in our suite. The pastries were some of the most delicious we've ever had. We also loved eating lunch outside on the terrace, and the sole was so fresh and cooked perfectly. Truly every interaction we had with staff was a pleasure. We can't wait to return to this heavenly hotel.

Special place for a city break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My sister wanted a special place to celebrate her 40th birthday and selected the four seasons hotel for a city break. Its a lovely haven which us a haven from the busy bustle of Florence. Beautiful rooms, all the central areas beautifully decorated, gardens and charming staff. Breakfast on the terrace was just lovely. The hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from the city centre. Whats always special about the Four seasons is how the staff make you feel like an individual, with their training on how to address people and learning who you are. Special mention to Alberto our waiter at the Al fresco restaurant where my sister and I had dinner on the last evening. Very helpful and charming young man.
