NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa

This hotel is in the center of Florence and about a 10 minute walk from the train station, although rolling suitcases on the stone sidewalks is challenging. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is simply wonderful. The staff is extremely helpful, polite, professional and friendly. The breakfast buffet is the real standout here. The breakfast rooms are stunningly beautiful and the assortment and variety of foods is amazing! So many choices to choose from and shout out to the woman making delicious cappuccinos for us each morning. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet each morning as it was a wonderful way to start our day exploring Florence. We requested a room on a high floor with a view and our room was perfect! Lots of room, great amenities and extra large shower. This is a fabulous hotel, old world charm and elegance with upgraded rooms. I want to come back to Florence just to stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be sorry!

I cannot recommend this stay enough! Not only is it one of the oldest hotels in Italy, but the location is perfect with all the major Florence sights within walking distance, alongside a lot of amazing local Italian shops and restaurants. The staff are absolutely fantastic and we’re the most welcoming to us. To name drop a few; Nadine, Stefano, Nirvan, Antonietta, and Gianni had all helped us settle in and made sure our stay was well accommodated for. The rooms are super clean and cosy (especially the beds) and the breakfast spread was more than perfect. If you are looking for a solid stay in Florence that will not disappoint, you have to stay here!!

We can’t say enough about our stay at the NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa. The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay here absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, but what truly made the experience special was the people. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to make our stay memorable. Our room was spotless, cozy, and a perfect place to relax after a full day. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed — from the comfortable bedding to the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. What stood out most was the atmosphere. There was a sense of warmth and care throughout the entire property that made us feel valued as guests, not just customers. It’s rare to find a place that combines excellent service, comfort, and genuine hospitality so seamlessly. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning. Our 3 night stay was fantastic. The hotel is stunning, beautifully nestled in a pretty old street very close to all the big squares. Inside the space is gorgeous with vaulted ceilings, original frescos and stained glass. It's said to be Italy's oldest hotel and the staff are proud of that. They couldn't have been kinder or friendlier; from reception to breakfast to the doormen - they truly made us feel special.

This is a separate delight created by Chef Tomasso: high-quality products, an excellent selection, and a calm, pleasant atmosphere — the perfect way to start a morning in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The restaurant was also beautifully and tastefully decorated for the winter holidays. - Our stay at NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa was not merely an overnight stay in Florence, but an essential part of our overall experience of the city — refined, harmonious, and truly memorable.
