NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa

The location was perfect in the center of everything but not on the busiest street. The rooms were huge and well decorated. The staff was so friendly. The ice machine in the common areas was a lovely plus.

Hotel has a creat location, walkable to all the touristy spots, museums, shops and restaurants. The overall property is nice, nice decor. Some of the rooms are spacious, some are not. My shower… terrible, every time I took a shower I ended up doing a mess and needing a big towel to dry the floor. The hotel is nice, but something is missing to make it special. Options at the breakfast are limited.

Hotel and staff are absolutely lovely. Hotel is beautiful & historic & centrally located. Rooms are very clean. There is a bit of street noise but we could sleep nonetheless. This was recommended by one of our friends & recommend highly to others.

We had a wonderful stay at the NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa. The location is excellent — perfectly situated for exploring Florence on foot while still feeling peaceful and elegant. The concierge service was especially outstanding. Antoinette was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and welcoming throughout our stay, and truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great selection and excellent service. A special thank you to Giani, Aurelio, and Ana, who all did a wonderful job and made every morning feel warm and welcoming. Overall, a beautiful hotel with excellent hospitality, wonderful staff, and a perfect location in Florence. We would happily stay again.

The Hotel Porta Rossa is a beautiful place -- I spent a wonderful four days there in April/May and would highly recommend it. It's located in the heart of Florence, yet the palazzo is calm and peaceful inside. The hotel has a long and fascinating history, and combines some beautiful architectural features (in the lobby area, for example) with very modern amenities (comfortable beds, well-equipped bathrooms, excellent heating/air-conditioning). The breakfast buffet was fantastic. And the staff all throughout the hotel were very kind and helpful. All in all, a fantastic stay. Thank you!
