A perfect stay
The Hotel Porta Rossa is a beautiful place -- I spent a wonderful four days there in April/May and would highly recommend it. It's located in the heart of Florence, yet the palazzo is calm and peaceful inside. The hotel has a long and fascinating history, and combines some beautiful architectural features (in the lobby area, for example) with very modern amenities (comfortable beds, well-equipped bathrooms, excellent heating/air-conditioning). The breakfast buffet was fantastic. And the staff all throughout the hotel were very kind and helpful. All in all, a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Home away from home
My go to hotel in Florence. Why? Because I can't imagine any other place I would want to stay at. The location is in walking distance of anything and everything. The rooms are spectacular with great amenities. Breakfast - bountiful selections. But the real reason is the staff. Dining room staff: Gianni, Anna, Aurelio, Christina. They remember what I like and get it for me as soon as I arrive. Concierge/reception. Any request taken care of with a smile: Erika, Antoinetta. But the real reason I return is for the hospitality offered by Nadine. This is truly my home away from home. My only request, as a lover of flowers, is that they upgrade their selection to match their 5 star category.

The best hotel option for Firenze
An excellent hotel, in arguably the best location in Florence. Very comfortable rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. I was also very impressed by the staff, who were friendly and extremely helpful. The staff is the soul of any business, and the team at Porta Rossa is doing an excellent job.

Great stay!
It was wonderful! We loved coming home to this hotel everyday. Well actually because of the excellent location we stopped in multiple times. Highly recommend. Will stay here the next time we visit.

City Square Florence Excellence
The NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa exceeded expectations. The hotel itself has such history and it has been interwoven into the modern world. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room we had was enormous with an amply sized bathroom (double sink). Because of the student population in the city, the street got a little loud but that is no fault of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
