Reviews for Brunelleschi Hotel

We would return !

Our stay at Brunelleschi was very pleasant and the hotel was excellently run with plenty of staff to make sure things went smoothly. Pros: Location, plenty of staff, exceptionally clean and orderly, service from the staff was excellent - they couldn't do enough to please you. We went down for breakfast, but didn't eat, just a coffee and they accomodated us w/o addn'l charge. Cons: the room was too small, but that was our fault for not going with a bigger room. We kind of cheaped out on that - don't get the smallest room - they are more like big closets. I'd say about 60% of the staff was a bit too rigid for me; almost like they were being forced to be there. The balance were just absolutely delightful. The room thermostats are preset and will only vary a couple of degrees. The system was way too hot for me. I get congested when I try to sleep in an overly warm room. The first night they accomodated us and shut the heat in the room off. The 2nd and 3rd night, the cleaning staff obviously didn't get the memo, turned it back on and we were forced to open the window, which cooled the room, but, increased the outdoor noise level. In the end however, all was well and we slept well.

An Unforgettable Standard of Hospitality - Beyond Five Stars

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

An Unforgettable Standard of Hospitality-Beyond Five Stars I have stayed at five-star hotels all over the world, and while the service has always been excellent, my stay at Hotel Brunelleschi showed me something entirely new: that true hospitality can surpass expectations in ways I did not know were still possible. From the very first moment, the level of care, precision, and genuine warmth was extraordinary. Upon arriving at Florence, our train into Firenze Santa Maria Novella was delayed. I messaged the hotel as they were arranging our car service, and not only did they actively monitor the train’s arrival, but I received a call the exact minute the train pulled into the station to ensure I knew precisely where to meet the driver. I have never experienced that level of real-time attentiveness ever. When we arrived on the street near the hotel, we were immediately greeted by a bellhop who arrived with umbrellas already in hand, anticipating the weather before we even had to ask. Simone checked us in and personally walked us to our room, which had a phenomenal view. He took the time to explain everything thoughtfully and coordinated arrangements for us with effortless professionalism. His warmth and attention made us feel instantly at home. The room itself was pristinely clean not a single detail missed. Later that evening, housekeeping from the third floor even stopped by to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. That level of pride and care in their work is rare and deserves special recognition. The hotel was so peaceful and restorative that we chose to extend our stay. Eva, along with General Manager Stefano, made this seamless and ensured we could remain in the same room. Their flexibility and kindness turned what could have been a logistical challenge into a moment of genuine hospitality. Eva also organized a car for us to explore the countryside. The car story itself turned into a funny memory one we will forever associate with her and it’s moments like these that make this hotel feel personal, not transactional. On another day, we had an experience outside the hotel that was less than ideal. When we spoke with Paul about it, he calmly talked us through everything. By the end of the conversation, what could have lingered as a negative memory had completely disappeared we were laughing together, and the moment was transformed. When it came time to check out, we truly did not want to leave. We felt less like guests and more like family. The accommodations, the care, the warmth, and the human connection exceeded anything we have ever experienced at a luxury hotel. If you are looking for luxury with heart, for a place that treats you like family while delivering the highest level of service imaginable, I cannot recommend Hotel Brunelleschi enough. There is simply no other hotel where I have felt this level of genuine care, connection, and excellence. This is hospitality at its absolute finest.

Where I will be staying every time I go to Florence!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

It’s been two weeks since my wife and I checked out of the Brunelleschi Hotel. We originally were going to be there for three nights but it was so nice we extended our vacation two more nights. It is a beautiful hotel and the service was top notch! I have always tried to find the nicest hotel to stay in on our trips to Florence but have not fallen in love with one until now! Seriously thinking about going back there again before the spring crowds!
