Booked here because of a foot injury and wanted to be as close to the Uffizi as possible. What a fabulous hotel. Great accommodations, great staff, great location. Located right near the Ponte Vecchio, it was perfect. I loved the hotel toiletries - smelled divine, and I rarely wear scent. The rooftop lounge is beautiful with an amazing view of the city. We will return.

The location of this hotel cannot be understated. It vasocally backs up to the Uffizi. We had a Ponte Vecchio and sure enough, we woke up each morning with a view of the famous bridge and river. Service was excellent. What I must separately mention is the rooftop bar. A complete hidden gem. You can see the river and bridge on one side (really the whole town) and an awesome unobstructed view of Il Duomo on the other. Where else can you enjoy both views with excellent season cocktails?? It was never crowded either.

Fabulous hotel with very accommodating and helpful staff. Beautiful breakfast room with a wonderful ceiling - no need to take a book to read during breakfast. Excellent food offering although would be good to add fried eggs and warm boiled eggs and potatoes - and a few more vegetarian options - cooked mushrooms and tomatoes for example. My first night I was in a room where the window looked out onto a wall, but the staff changed my second night to a room overlooking the river - great service that! Lovely decor and the two highlights for me were the old preserved wall in one of the sitting areas from the time the building was a convent, and the hotel's proximity to the Uffizi which is why I had travelled to Florence; to see all that wonderful medieval and renaissance art. I will definitely go back there when in Florence again.

Hotel was excellent in way. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have tea and coffee making facilities in our room but asked the hotel staff if they were able to provide and they brought a kettle and tea and coffee to our room which was very much appreciated. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and the hotel management surprised me with a birthday cake and a bottle of prosecco on the day, which was a lovely surprise. The location was within walking distance to the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo, Cathedral of Santa Maria. Very good restaurants and the shops all very close by too. We would almost defiantly stay at this hotel again when staying in Florence.

Amazing hotel with kind, attentive staff located in historical center along the Arno river. The hotel is a decorated in lovely classic style, with clean and comfortable well-appointed rooms. There are beautiful common areas including a cozy library, rooftop bar with scenic outdoor terrace, and amazingly beautiful breakfast ballroom. The breakfast buffet offers a very large and varied selection of delicious food sure to please and they make excellent coffees. The breakfast staff is very attentive and work hard to ensure a nice experience. We have stayed at this hotel numerous time and always all of the hotel staff have been kind, attentive, and friendly. They helped us with a room situation and we greatly appreciate their kindness. We have enjoyed our stays very much and we thank Hotel degli Orafi and Staff very much!
