A special recommendation for this location.

The wonderful experience began with the concierge service. I requested transportation to pick me up at the train station, and it was very efficient. Check-in was smooth, and my room was ready with everything I expected. The room was excellent for one person, with a safe, kettle, mini fridge, a superb bathroom and towels, and a lovely fragrance diffuser. The overall atmosphere was very peaceful, perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the views from the room, the dining room, and the rooftop bar were unforgettable. A team of professionals managed the dining room with great efficiency. The same fragrance is present in the lobby, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Similarly, there are different areas for reading, relaxing, or chatting. The same key card used to access your room also activates the electricity—a very clever design choice. The location is everything you could ask for and more: the Ponte Vecchio, the museums, the city center, and just around the corner, one of Florence's best restaurants, Antico Fattore, with excellent food and service. It is on a charming street; be sure to admire the art along the way.

I love this hotel!

I've stayed at the Hotel degli Orafi several times since 2002, and it's a perfect stay every time. The service is attentive, the beds are so comfortable, the views are amazing, and you can't beat the location. Oh, and the breakfast is outstanding! Beautiful ballroom, with abundant, delicious food.

Ideally located near Ponte Vecchio in an ancient palace. Wonderful breakfast in a sumptuous room . The best thing: the helpful and nice staff.

Excellent location, so easy to walk to all the main visitor attractions in the city. Rooms lovely and spacious, breakfast had great choice for continental and hot breakfast. Staff very helpful. Great roof top bar and not overly expensive for hotel bar.

Overpriced tired hotel , just paying for the view!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday and although the position was perfect the room was disappointing. We had paid extra and booked a deluxe room with a view but on arrival found that it was a twin room made into a double as the bedside light and plug socket was in the middle of the bed plus there was only one bedside table and a single armchair . The bathroom was tiny with a leaking shower. The room was very hot with no instructions on how to change the temperature and we had to open the window which then was noisy at night, the whole hotel was very hot. The upstairs bar lacked atmosphere and the bar man was always busy cleaning and made me feel unwelcome. The bar offered a limited menu so on the evening after the opera my husband and I chose to order a meal there and although they don’t claim to be a restaurant it then allowed them to charge €16 For a microwaved lasagne ( we heard the ping of the microwave!) The breakfast room was beautiful and it did serve a very good choice of food and the service was excellent Reception were very helpful The room was kept very clean Overall it was overpriced and and they would benefit from having a restaurant using the breakfast room for lunch and dinner
