Hotel Degli Orafi

Great stay, it is old florence fashioned. But we had a great, comfortable stay, the A/C was a life saver. Prime location, lovely they offered T-SHIRTs for free per each guest. Breakfast spread was good - good coffee! Also really enjoyed the rooftop bar, drinks were great and loved the complimentary snacks.

The location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the centre of where you need to be, within walking distance to most places. It’s a beautiful hotel, very old worldy with modern twists. The room was large with great aircon and free bottles of water. Immaculately clean too. Turned down bed at night with chocolates on the bed for you. The attention to detail is amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and they gave us a lovely bottle of champagne in our room which we took onto the rooftop bar to drink and enjoy the wonderful views. We would happily recommend you stay here.

We stayed in Suite 50/51, penthouse family suite and we could not have been more pleased with this accommodation! Incredibly spacious and comfortable! Keep in mind that beds in Europe are going to be firmer than in US, wherever you stay. The staff were wonderful, always pleasant and helpful. Location is very convenient. We loved having the option of the rooftop bar to escape the crowds on the streets below. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options. This is an excellent option for your stay in Florence!

It was such a fantastic stay at Hotel Degli Orafi. The location is perfect, right on the Arno river next to the Ponte Vecchio and just steps from the Uffizi Gallery. Everything in Florence is walkable from there. The staff was incredibly gracious and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, served in this stunning room with the most beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. And the rooftop bar, Disopra, was just lovely with the greatest views, the Duomo on one side and the Arno and Ponte Vecchio on the other. Their Limoncello spritzes are honestly the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel, with elegant fixtures and helpful staff. Excellent location. The breakfast room is gorgeous, and the buffet is generous. Our room was disappointing, unfortunately. Zero view (above an alley, all we could see was a wall and flat grey roof). And the smallest shower I have ever seen; a larger person literally would not be able to use it. There is no place other than the shower floor to place soap or shampoo., and no matter how you angle the shower head, the floor gets wet.
