The exclusive and stylish Hotel Lungarno was designed by the Florentine architect Michele Bönan and invites you to spend magical days surrounded by luxury, glamorous art and culture. This charming and luxury hotel in Florence offers a precious art collection from the 900’s, such as works by Picasso and Cocteau, Tuscan and Italian world-class temptations at its gourmet restaurant Borgo San Jacopo, and a breathtaking view onto the River Arno.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Hotel Lungarno. We appreciated the acknowledgement of our anniversary with a room with a spectacular view and beautiful welcome amenities. While the property was certainly wonderful and well appointed, it was the warmth and professionalism of the Team that was truly a differentiator. Every member of the Team made us feel special from check-in to breakfast and all experiences in between. We were always greeted with "Bonjorno" and a smile from everyone. We received expert advice from the very friendly and capable concierge team. Julia was a standout; she was the most capable professional we have experienced in this role. She remembered us and went above and beyond in every request. This was recognized and appreciated. Our favorite meal in Florence was breakfast at the Hotel! The breakfast offerings were beautifully presented and everything that we tried was delicious. Again, the Team serving breakfast were lovely, always offering a warm greeting even at 7:00 am. We will recommend and return based upon our stay. Many thanks for making this the best part of our anniversary!

Had pretty high expectations for this hotel but it failed to meet them, on many fronts. Behind the fancy facade are inconsistent service, downright bad housekeeping, tiny rooms, and stuffy atmosphere that made the stay overall rather unpleasant. Exactly how they weren’t up to par, some examples: - Non existent water pressure. It was so bad we were cold even with the temperature turned all the way hot. Had to keep the bathroom door closed shut to not shiver while showering. - Housekeeping was v bad—serious (re)training is needed. 1. We found random peanuts on the floor after housekeeping supposedly came by to make up the room, even though we never ate any peanuts in the room?! 2. They came by for turn down service at 10pm—a bit late for turn down while we are resting after a long day. 3. Restroom downstairs in the public area was dirty. Essentially no attention to detail—not what I’d expect from a hotel that costs over $1k per night. - Everything just felt transactional—nothing felt special or intimate. Completely unmemorable. One thing I’ll give them credit for is food—breakfast was great, and their bistro bar had good dishes, but that’s really the end of good things that come with this hotel. The hotel is owned by the Ferragamo family—perhaps they’re too busy with all their ventures to look after their hotel collection.

Hotel Lungarno offers an exceptional experience in Florence. The location is superb, with stunning views of the Arno River and easy access to the city's main attractions. The staff, especially Sara, were incredibly competent, making us feel at home. The rooms are elegant and well-appointed, with amenities that add to the overall comfort of the stay. The hotel's attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the impeccable service to the exquisite dining options. We will definitely come back! Grazie.

Highly recommend this hotel. From the moment I arrived to the moment I departed, the service was impeccable. The accommodations are beautiful, and they thought of everything. Felt like I was leaving a piece of my family when I departed. Thank you, for the wonderful experiences! Until next time my friends, Ciao!

We really loved our stay at Hotel Lungarno. It was my friend’s second time staying at this Hotel. Beautiful property. We were greeted with strawberries, pasteries and champagne. Our room was beautiful and spacious. Our room was two stories with original ceiling and arch of the 12th century. It was just beautiful! Service was impeccable. Every memember of staff was super attentive, polite and friendly. Concierge was extremely helpful. Breakfast was great with a wide selection and excellent coffee. The Resturant had a beautiful view of Ponte Vecchio bridge with delicious food and cocktails. The Hotel has an excellent location with short walking distance to all attractions and shopping center. We would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone and we would stay there again during our next visit to Florence. It was a wonderful experience in all respects.
