Hotel Lungarno

We just left the Hotel Lungarno after a 7 night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. We used TripAdvisor when searching for hotels and are so glad we did as the hotel lived up to all of the positive reviews. The hotel is in the Oltrarno, which provides a much more local and authentic feel to Florence. We recommend staying in this area if you want a more calm atmosphere. The hotel is beautiful and classically styled. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure every possible need is anticipated and met. Lorenzo at the front desk was great. He helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations as well as ordering taxis and answering our many questions. Vinieio was also so helpful and kind as he assisted us with our luggage and taxis. We stayed in a room with a large balcony overlooking the Arno which was a nice treat to enjoy views of the Ponte Vecchio in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast buffet is included and had a wide assortment of hot and cold dishes and also included made-to-order omelets. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning.

Staff was very helpful, professional & attentive and gave us an upgrade. Belal - great doorman / butler who also took amazing pictures of us! Beautiful Location & views of Ponte Vecchio. Just not so easy to get to by car.

One of the best stays I’ve had in Florence. We had the two bedroom apartment and were so happy to have two bathrooms and a full kitchen with a washing machine. Not only was everything perfectly functional but it was stunning! The attention to detail was impressive. The place was so well thought out. The staff we’ve so kind and accommodating, from first welcome of Amrin (James) to the very end of our 5 day stay. The restaurant has amazing dishes and our favorite affogato so far. It’s now my number one place to recommend!

Although my stay was only one night, it was enough to appreciate the quality of this hotel. My 7th-floor room with a balcony was spacious, especially considering the hotel’s excellent location in central Florence, right along the Arno near Ponte Vecchio. The buffet breakfast also offered a wide variety of excellent choices. We really enjoyed the Feregamo art collection displayed throughout the hotel. The staff were courteous and professional, making our stay very pleasant. Highly recommended!

Excellent team of professionals! All of them makes you feel at home with exceptional quality and level of service. I been twice and plan to be one more time this year.
