Hotel Savoy

The Savoy staff was absolutely first class. They were friendly and from the moment we checked in were anxious to see that everything was done to make sure our visit was wonderful. The room was beautiful and what you would expect in a top class hotel. The restaurant experience was fantastic - homemade pastas, and a great wine selection. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner were very attentive, professional, and sought to make sure our dining experience was exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay n Florence at the Hotel Savoy. Everything is as you would expect from a 5 star property. Exceptional staff and service. Wonderful bar and restaurant. Very close to everything but a quiet oasis when you return to the hotel.

The staff were amazing as an entire team. Housekeeping to front desk, concierge, door managers and bar/restaurant staff - they all went above and beyond to make the stay special for us. Always friendly, always professional and made you feel comfortable. We were at the Savoy in Florence for a special time. A significant birthday and wedding anniversary and they sent a gift from the hotel to the room which was a total surprise. The room was constantly tidied and cleaned by incredible house keepers who managed to keep everything looking fresh and beautiful. The cocktails in the bar were another high point - try the espresso martini! Food delicious too in the restaurant and the environment/spread of food for breakfast hard to beat. Central to everything. Duomo within a couple of minutes walk and close to all the major museums/sites not to mention huge array of shops. not cheap but worth splashing out.

Hotel Savoy is Florence‘s greatest secret. The whole team of the Hotel Savoy made me feel like a member of a large Italian family. They were able help me with reservations and special requests. My room was incredibly comfortable. I really loved the facial products and women’s sized slippers. Little things that show they care. The central location is unbeatable. The decor is elegant. The breakfast is the stuff of dreams.
