The Place is a very special place. A luxury home away from home where the service and attention to detail makes this beautiful boutique hotel a cut above the rest. From the minute we arrived we loved this hotel, from the beautifully decorated rooms, to the incredible location and of course the exceptional service. I will be dreaming of aperitif's on the hotel terrace, for a very long time.

The place is a beautiful boutique hotel on a fabulous Piazza in Florence, well situated from everything. It is first class and the service was exceptional. The attention of Alejandro and his team was as good as I could’ve asked for. I will absolutely return to the place when I’m back. The rooms are gorgeous and the café lattes in the restaurant downstairs are the best we had in Italy. It’s expensive, but worth it.

I had the most incredible stay at The Place. I arrived haphazardly after escaping another hotel I had booked that had various issues. I was welcomed so warmly by The Place, a room was arranged at incredible speed and I immediately knew I was finally at the right hotel. The hotel is stunning, the room was so relaxing after a day exploring, and overall the hotel almost felt more like a home than a hotel. It didn’t feel orchestrated or overly formal, but the standards of service and quality of everything was on par with some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. I have the pleasure of frequently staying at top tier 5* hotels and this is the first time I have seen a smaller size property delivered equal service and attention to detail. The staff were all so warm, pleasant and friendly. On day 2 I realized I’ve forgotten an important medication at home and they arranged a prescription for me from a local doctor in under an hour all through the concierge WhatsApp! I was so impressed and grateful. The food at the hotel is also delicious, the location is fantastic if you’re exploring or shopping, and truly I cannot fault absolutely anything about the property. It also felt very secure and I loved that it never felt extremely busy. There were moments when I almost felt like I had the whole hotel to myself. It was wonderful. Thank you so much to everyone at The Place - you made my stay perfect! It was the first time I was able to travel internationally due to health, so it was a very sentimental trip for me to a city that I’ve always wanted to travel to, and you played a huge part in making it exactly as memorable as I hoped it would be. I am so grateful to you all and I can’t wait to return time and time again!

The Place is a gem of a hotel in Florence. It is like stepping into a luxurious Florentine home. It is small but impeccably appointed and the staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. Located on the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, it close and walkable to everything. But at the same time, it is slightly removed from the hectic and touristy centre of the city, giving it a calmer and more private vibe. We could have sat for hours having breakfast on the private patio looking on to the piazza. And the Negroni Experience with bartender Zac was a trip highlight. The Place is now our new go-to hotel whenever we return to Florence!

Outstanding experience. The hotel was beautiful, the room was luxurious, and the entire staff was incredibly attentive.
