About the Hotel

L’Orologio Firenze overlooks Santa Maria Novella, one of the most beautiful squares of Florence, in the true center of town and just a few minutes from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the main shopping streets. A contemporary boutique hotel with a themed décor inspired by the magical world of Haute Horlogerie. Each floor is a homage to a house of luxurious wristwatches: Rolex, Vacheron - Constantin and Patek Philippe. The city of Florence offers infinite possibilities for fun and entertainment. Very nice stay in Florence

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

had an overall really nice stay here. the htel is centrally located, staff is attentive, rooms are very clean and pleasant. mattress was hard and really great for us. Shower and everything about the bathroom great. Breakfast was good, great view from the room. Some smaller aspects were annoying. Had to flip to channel no. 300 to find the first one not in Italian; power sockets were sparse and difficult to access, and no USB outlets. And the WiFi connection was poor, we had to re-connect at least once a day if not more often than that. Would also suggest that management invests in a sign so it's easier to find the hotel.

Lock up your stuff

Great location for everything but don't just go by location. The hotel is old and the rooms are hot they can turn the AC up for you from the desk but it never gets cool had to ask for a fan so we could sleep. Packing up the last day to go to rome and my wife noticed she was missing 2 travel shampoos we told the desk and the pretty much called us liars that they would never steal anything. My wife brought 8 with her and we are leaving with 6 so they got up and walked out themselves. (See pictures) they offered me an assortment of the stuff which doesn't make up foe stealing our stuff. The staff was very friendly up until that point, I guess the truth hurts.

Excellent Hotel in the Heart of Florence

Perfect spot as we used Florence as our home base to explore the Tuscan countryside for a week. Location was great, the hotel is first-rate from breakfast to late-night cocktails. Room was spacious and updated. We couldn't have loved our stay more!

Good find!

Very nice hotel in convenient location in Florence. Large rooms with beautiful, dramatically high ceilings and beautiful bathrooms, good breakfast, and good service.

Luxurious hotel in the city center

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We recently spent 10 days travelling Italy for a delayed honeymoon. We stayed in multiple locations and Hotel L'Orologio was by far our favorite! It was immaculate and very comfortable. The pillows and mattress were great and the hotel was very quiet despite it's location in the city center. It was walkable to all the sites and to many restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast buffet was extensive. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.
