About the Hotel

L’Orologio Firenze overlooks Santa Maria Novella, one of the most beautiful squares of Florence, in the true center of town and just a few minutes from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the main shopping streets. A contemporary boutique hotel with a themed décor inspired by the magical world of Haute Horlogerie. A lovely hotel with a perfect location in the heart of Florence. The room were stylish, comfortable, and very clean, and the atmosphere felt elegant yet cozy. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. Thank you for a beautiful stay — we would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Phenomenal from beginning to end!

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Although we hadn't originally booked this hotel, I am so glad that this is where we stayed. Edwardo and his colleagues on the front desk assisted us with directions to the local attractions, and Luca in the hotel bar/restaurant enjoyed a chat with us when he wasn't advising us on the best local wine choices. We would definitely stay here again, and we would highly recommend it.

A beautifully designed boutique hotel with quiet rooms, excellent service and a perfect central location. The interiors are stylish without being overwhelming, and the breakfast includes many fresh, high-quality options.

Ok hotel , but very expensive

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful all the time. The room was clean and comfy, however the bathtub was so high, we have a hard time getting in and out, if u are older it will be very risky which might cause u to fall so confirm this before booking. Access to the room u have to go up some stairs also. The breakfast has good selection. This hotel is less than 5 mins walking from the train station and walkable to all the other major tourist attraction. Would recommend this hotel to stay when in Florence, however the price is a bit high I guess it is because of the centre location.

We stayed at L’Orologio in Florence for our 25th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. Our incredible trip was planned with travel planner extraordinaire Limitless, owned by Lesley Murphy, and every detail was seamless from start to finish. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city made it easy to walk to world-class restaurants, shops, and museums. Our suite was spacious and elegant, with a private balcony where we enjoyed wine and cocktails crafted by the fantastic bartender—such a memorable highlight of our evenings. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with fresh food, excellent coffee, and every option we could have wanted. To maximize our time, we highly recommend hiring a travel guide—this made exploring stress-free and helped us skip long lines at the major sights. From the service to the atmosphere, L’Orologio exceeded every expectation. We hope to return soon and cannot recommend it enough for anyone visiting Florence!
