L’Orologio Firenze overlooks Santa Maria Novella, one of the most beautiful squares of Florence, in the true center of town and just a few minutes from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the main shopping streets. A contemporary boutique hotel with a themed décor inspired by the magical world of Haute Horlogerie. Each floor is a homage to a house of luxurious wristwatches: Rolex, Vacheron - Constantin and Patek Philippe. The city of Florence offers infinite possibilities for fun and entertainment. Yet one could easily pass their time in Florence right in the hotel, making the most of their Florentine hours by letting off steam in the gym after a long series of meetings, relaxing in the smoking room or a with a rejuvenating sauna after a day out exploring the city.

Perfect spot as we used Florence as our home base to explore the Tuscan countryside for a week. Location was great, the hotel is first-rate from breakfast to late-night cocktails. Room was spacious and updated. We couldn't have loved our stay more!

Very nice hotel in convenient location in Florence. Large rooms with beautiful, dramatically high ceilings and beautiful bathrooms, good breakfast, and good service.

We recently spent 10 days travelling Italy for a delayed honeymoon. We stayed in multiple locations and Hotel L'Orologio was by far our favorite! It was immaculate and very comfortable. The pillows and mattress were great and the hotel was very quiet despite it's location in the city center. It was walkable to all the sites and to many restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast buffet was extensive. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location right on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella. It's close to the train station and within easy walking distance of the main sites of Florence. The room was good sized and well-appointed. I especially liked the painted ceiling, which was spectacular. The breakfast room was beautiful and the food in the morning was fresh and delicious. The staff at the front desk were welcoming when we came in and helpful in telling us about the hotel. We had a couple of quibbles that were small, but did affect the experience. First, the front desk was often unstaffed when we were coming and going. I think the people were in the office adjacent to the front desk. It did not feel as welcoming as it could have been as we did not get a chance to interact with the staff on a regular basis. The breakfast staff seemed a bit rushed and were responsive if we asked for anything, but they did not have the time to be proactive. Finally, the elevator was out for the day, but that was an unfortunate event. It was fixed as quickly as possible, I'm sure. These things were minor and would not affect our willingness to stay here again. We definitely would.

Lovely hotel, great location. Having stayed at L’Orologio in Venice last year we hoped it was going to be as good, and we weren’t disappointed. Would definitely recommend. Taxi from Florence airport was very easy and was a fixed rate approx €30, they do charge extra for luggage!
