Family holiday

Beautiful hotel, we stayed for two nights on our Italy adventure we travelled from Rome to Florence. Two adults and one teenager we booked a suite. The rooms are large and modern & clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful & lovely to sit outside for pre dinner drinks after a long day of walking. The reception staff are very helpful and knowledgable we couldn’t fault any of the staff they were all amazing. Especially the bar staff, they make fabulous cocktails ☺️🍸 Breakfast on the terrace was lovely plenty of choice. Our only negative was the air con didn’t work the rooms are very hot we did mention this twice but it didn’t get corrected sadly. We stayed May 24th 2026 for two nights

Thieves!!!!

They used our rental car over night and banged it. Significantly damages in front and back. Totally unacceptable. They are ignoring and don’t want to look at videos. Police has to be involved. Would not recommend !!!!!

Excellent!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights from 5th May (wedding anniversary trip). We were not disappointed. The decor, ambience, cleanliness, food and service were superb. Special shout out to Eda at breakfast who was exceptional for her customer service, the lady who checked us in on the 5th May and helped us practice our Italian, plus the gentlemen who checked us out. All lovely people delivering exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Good, but could use some improvements

First the positive...beautiful boutique hotel with a combination of antique and modern with the touches of an top interior designer. Beautiful courtyard and close to the train station. Exceptional service from Dario at the front desk who made great recommendations, reservations and enthusiastically greeted us each day. Now the not so positive...Breakfast was not up to par with other boutique hotels we've stayed at in Italy and France. The continental breakfast is weak and your only hot choice is scrambled eggs. Yes you can order an omelet or French toast for an upcharge, but it is not included when you purchase breakfast. 70% of the time we didn't even get asked if wanted anything besides coffee. Internet is great in the lobby but weak in the rooms. We choose hotels with good accomidations, good location and a great breakfast to start the day. This hotel did 2 out of three and is fixable if management wants address. Would not stay here again

Ok for first time visitor, not for experienced visitor to the city

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

A 4 night visit, our first in florence so wanted something fairly central. It did seem pretty expensive but I think this is common in the city. Staff were friendly but we didnt really need anything doing. The room cleaning was strange as I expected it to be completed in the morning but the cleaner was coming round later afternoon when I expect most people are in the room. Therefore only cleaned 2 out of 4 times. I dont think I would go back as it was a little further out than I would expect and price too high but maybe it is ok for a first time visitor.
