Palazzo Vecchietti

Our stay at the Palazzo Vechetti was amazing. The property is gorgeous and the staff is second to none. Tomasso went above and beyond to get us to the hotel when we were unable to navigate the ZTL even walking 20 minutes to "collect us. Jordan at the bar and Samanta hosting breakfast are a pleasure. From the sparkling wine welcome drink while Luca filled us in on the hotels history and must sees while in Florence to checkout, I couldn't have asked for more. The entire staff are just perfect! Thank you Palazzo Vechetti for making our 1st stay in Florence a memorable one ❤️

We had the absolute best stay at Palazzo Vecchietti—by far the best hotel experience of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and care. Leonardo, in particular, made us feel truly important and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The service throughout was exceptional, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. This morning we enjoyed the most incredible breakfast delivered right to our room—such a special way to start the day. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We can’t recommend Palazzo Vecchietti highly enough. If you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality in Florence, this is the place to stay.

Had a great stay here. It is centrally located and they really take care of you and everything was really nice. The food, the service, the room, were all very nice. Only criticism would be, to provide a little more information beforehand on getting in the door at the very start. That would have been helpful. There was not a person on the curb, so we just found our way in, which felt kind of awkward. But everything was great after that! Great Place!

Every minute of our stay here was excellent. Starting with the check-in, you’ll recognize the amazing level of service that is consistent throughout your entire stay. All of the staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful with anything you need. The property is beautiful, with large, comfortable rooms. The bar, which is open only to hotel guests, is a wonderful place to have a pre-dinner drink or wind down after a long day in a very quiet setting. We wouldn’t change a thing about this place!

I was really looking forward to this property- from the photos, it looks like a real palace. As a HH Diamond, I was 'upgraded' to an attic room with low ceilings and no windows. There was an interesting open-air roof terrace accessible by a narrow staircase, but in general, the room design and especially the kitchen and furnishings were disappointing. On the positive, the location is excellent and the staff are super friendly. Still, this is nowhere near 5 stars- no restaurant, no 5-star hotel amenities, and when I asked for a breakfast-to-go for an early departure, it wasn't ready on time, and the staff forgot to provide any cutlery which rendered most of the contents inaccessible. There are beautiful public spaces here but adjust your expectations for something more like an AirBnB at a seriously inflated price. The hotel's replies to negative reviews demonstrate that they're not particularly receptive to criticism, which sort of tells you all you need to know.
