Portrait Firenze

We enjoyed a truly fantastic experience at this hotel with our family. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Our room boasted breathtaking views over the Arno River, facing directly towards the iconic Ponte Vecchio, a view that was truly a highlight of our visit. Every aspect of our experience was remarkable, from the luxurious accommodations to the attentive service. We are already planning our return to this wonderful location, and I cannot recommend this hotel, its prime location, and its extraordinary staff highly enough. A perfect stay from start to finish!

I booked a family suite through Amex FHR and stayed in Portrait Firenze for 2 nights. We were picked up by the van at the train station and they had a booster seat for my toddler ready. At the hotel, we welcomed by Matteo and several other staff members and they went over what the FHR included and led us to our room. The room was very quiet and spacious. The room smelled wonderful and they had everything that my toddler needed (her own play tent, bottle sanitizer, warmer, high chair, utensils and bath tub). We felt really welcomed and this is the only hotel that I've stayed at where it felt like we were "at home" and I've booked plenty of FHR hotels. They also helped ship our heavy luggage back to us and they worked with a shipping company directly. I will for sure come back and book a longer stay, it is definitely worth the money and I love their personal touches to the room and service that we were given.

My wife and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and New Year’s Eve at the Portrait in Florence. The staff are truly remarkable. They are very professional, always greet you with a smile and go to great lengths to accommodate any and all asks in a timely fashion. The hotel rooms anre immaculately kept and cleaning staff also do a fantastic job. Can’t say enough great things about this staff and hotel itself. Grazie mile!

My family and I stayed for 4 nights over the Christmas holiday and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We loved every minute of our stay. This was our second time in Florence and I loved the location of the hotel. Every site in Florence is within a short walking distance, you are about a 30 second walk to the entrance of the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi is about a 5 min walk right down the river. The rooms are beautifully appointed with attention to every detail. We had two rooms, one a studio and the other was a family suite. Both were generously sized and since we were traveling with our teenage son we really appreciated the second full bathroom in the family suite. I highly recommend getting a room rate with breakfast included because the breakfast at the restaurant was amazing! Service at the hotel is impeccable. Every employee we encountered was extremely professional and the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I have traveled all over the world and I can, without doubt, say this was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. I would never stay anywhere else in Florence.

Everything about this hotel is top notch from the location to the service. I couldn’t recommend it anymore. Vlad was amazing and offered to have a Dr come to the hotel because my daughter wasn’t feeling well.
