The St. Regis Florence

We had a spectacular experience at the The St. Regis Florence—truly exceptional across the board. The staff was phenomenal—attentive, professional, and consistently going above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless throughout our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the location right on the Arno is hard to beat. What really set this stay apart was the level of service. Due to a half marathon, much of the city center was closed, and without hesitation, the concierge personally walked our bags several blocks to meet our driver. That level of care and commitment is rare and made a lasting impression. An outstanding experience from start to finish—highly recommended.

The Hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. The rooms were ok. First room we got (which was supposed to have a river view, was literally just a window that you had to be on your tippy toes to be able to see) and super small (said large room) bathroom was super small as well. We asked to be moved to a different room that was bigger with no view and they kindly did. We were spending a week there so the smaller room would have been super uncomfortable. The amenities in the room compared to St Regis Rome are not so great. Coming from the St Regis Rome we expected about the same but I guess different locations different things. The bed is the reason why I’m giving it a 3 star review, this bed was so uncomfortable and bad, lots of “bumps” like the coils were all over the place. Definitely the mattress needs replacing, I ended up with a really back neck and shoulder pain from it. Overall it’s a great hotel , classic with an excellent location, walking distance to everything! Again the staff was wonderful!

We spent three nights at this hotel. Very impressed with the hotel, the rooms and the service. The buffet breakfast was incredible. Liesl, the host, remembered our names and couldn’t have been nicer. Valeria was incredible - remembered our preferred orders daily and was extremely attentive to our needs. The location was great and a very easy walk to great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Our trip to Italy ended with a stay at the St Regis and it could not have been more perfect. The entire staff goes out of their way to make you feel special. Breakfast was outstanding. I enjoyed an afternoon tea and Apertivo daily at the bar. They were welcoming from the moment we arrived. Thank you for making our time in Italy special
