Dream Wedding Venue

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We had our wedding here in February 2024 and we highly recommend this beautiful historic hotel! The grounds are stunning at any time of the year, but I especially love the cozy atmosphere and ambience during the winter. The touch of lights and fireplaces was so warm and welcoming. All of the main barn rooms and suites are stunning and very comfortable. The Glasloft is an amazing space for your wedding venue, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional! The complimentary breakfast was my favorite part! We will definitely be coming back for many anniversaries in the future.

Great weekend getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

We had a wonderful stay at the Glasbern this past weekend. We stayed in the upper packhouse and got a room with vaulted ceilings as I requested. The room was wonderful, the fireplace was our favorite part. Everything was clean and worked well. There were some dead flies about that I had to clean up but it's an old building with the high ceilings so it didn't really bother us. The tub was nice and we spent the whole day just relaxing in our room as the weather was bad. The staff were very pleasant and breakfast was wonderful. The walls are thin as it is an old building so you can hear voices somewhat from the neighbors, but we had no issues with it and everyone respected quiet hours. The grounds are beautiful as well although we didn't get to explore as much due to the weather. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night which was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Not a good experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 months ago

Very disappointed in accommodations. First room had couch that collapsed when sat in. Upgrade room was dreary and had very very dirty air vents. I can see why they do not post pictures of these rooms. Would not return here.

Peaceful retreat

Beautiful property, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast. As mentioned in some previous posts main hotel bottom rooms can be noisy. Our first night was fine second night people walking about kept us up half the night. Would definitely stay again just not in that building.

Fantastic stay and staff

An incredible property nestled amongst the foothills of the poconos. We stayed for a weekend getaway and will definitely be back, most especially due to the fantastic inkeeper, Carinna, who truly made our stay 5 star with her exceptional service and kindness. Thank you for helping rejuvenate us both and we will see you again soon!
