I expected this Inn to be better than it was. . . rooms were fine but nothing particularly special. The experience of the stay felt flat.

Our only daughter was getting married, so it was a very big deal to my husband and I. We were so glad that we chose Glasbern Inn. From the very first tour, to the very last breakfast everything at Glasbern was simply amazing. Each and every staff member from wedding planners, chef, wait staff, bartenders and housekeeping made our experience absolutely magical. We wanted for nothing and they took care of everything so we could enjoy this incredibly special day. The views and grounds were stunning, so the whole wedding experience was exactly what my daughter and her fiancé dreamed of. Thank you Glasbern for making this a perfect event for our entire family and all of our guests.

Nice dinner, nice atmosphere. But what the heck…..ordered the “marinated olives” appetizer. Mushy, watery, and tasteless. How could such a nice place serve such crap. Very disappointing. Enough so, why return when there are other places just as nice.

Oh wow! From check in to check out, there was always a person available to help with what we needed. PRO- so many windows to let all the light in and see the beautiful sights, CON- so many windows so those going by can see us. PRO- free breakfast with many different options. I enjoyed almost one of every item except coffee! The yogurt, the fruit, the granola, the tea, the pastry... YUM! Then came my actual breakfast - avocado toast! The meals were filling, but I never felt stuffed. A walk at night will bring beautiful sights as well with many stars and levels of the mountains with their lights. Some windows needed better curtains or shades - PRO AND CON - many many flood lights to keep everyone safe walking around the property! Major PRO - the water pressure was powerful. Some hotels and motels really skimp in that area, but not Glasbern! The bed was exactly as described, and after I blocked the light coming in with a towel, I passed out into the luxurious, fluffy, comfortable king bed. I really enjoyed the later than hotel check out of noon! Gave us time to enjoy breakfast, take a short stroll around the grounds, rest, pack up and leave!

This was my third February stay at the Glasbern Inn. My husband and I have made it an annual trip. We like to stay in the Packhouse. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We love the fireplace! The chocolate covered cherries and wine was much appreciated. I can’t say enough good things about the Glasbern staff. They are all friendly and helpful. When you visit, do have dinner in the on site restaurant. The food is outstanding.
