Oh wow! From check in to check out, there was always a person available to help with what we needed. PRO- so many windows to let all the light in and see the beautiful sights, CON- so many windows so those going by can see us. PRO- free breakfast with many different options. I enjoyed almost one of every item except coffee! The yogurt, the fruit, the granola, the tea, the pastry... YUM! Then came my actual breakfast - avocado toast! The meals were filling, but I never felt stuffed. A walk at night will bring beautiful sights as well with many stars and levels of the mountains with their lights. Some windows needed better curtains or shades - PRO AND CON - many many flood lights to keep everyone safe walking around the property! Major PRO - the water pressure was powerful. Some hotels and motels really skimp in that area, but not Glasbern! The bed was exactly as described, and after I blocked the light coming in with a towel, I passed out into the luxurious, fluffy, comfortable king bed. I really enjoyed the later than hotel check out of noon! Gave us time to enjoy breakfast, take a short stroll around the grounds, rest, pack up and leave!

This was my third February stay at the Glasbern Inn. My husband and I have made it an annual trip. We like to stay in the Packhouse. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We love the fireplace! The chocolate covered cherries and wine was much appreciated. I can’t say enough good things about the Glasbern staff. They are all friendly and helpful. When you visit, do have dinner in the on site restaurant. The food is outstanding.

Do not eat at the restaurant onsite. Dined there on Christmas Eve with my family and I do not know what kind of sanitation standards are in the kitchen. I only didn't have and find hair in my stuffing, but also in my baked clam. Totally lost my appetite.

Thoroughly enjoyed the property and spacious lower level Packhouse suite we stayed in for 2 nights. If you like to spread out and have extra space for your stuff, these rooms are good for that. Packhouse suites face west and make for lovely sunsets. The in room jacuzzi tub was a great size and easy to use. In room fireplace was a nice touch and gave the warm ambiance you want for a romantic getaway. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were superb. Not a bad bite during appetizer and main course. Sprawling property grounds were hilly and a good workout. Well maintained grassy trails were peaceful to walk. All staff we interacted with were wonderful too. Danielle and Mckenzie were very helpful and accommodating. Stay here and you will be glad you did.

The grounds of the Glasbern are beautiful--so many places for romantic photographs! The hotel setting is quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the grounds, was clean, and well-appointed. The bar and restaurant are so convenient and we had good experiences there, too. They do have a level 2 Tesla car charging station in a covered carport area.
