Reviews for Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort

Terrible logistics but amazing employees

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

We had 5 people staying in our suit…2 adults and 3 children. Only enough linens for 4. I waited 6 hours for blankets and ended up spending nearly an hour in the lobby in my robe at 11pm for hotel essentials. I could have received basic hotel linens at a budget resort instead of at your Hilton. Staff was absolutely amazing and their attitudes were incredible for the level of complaining and logistical problems they had. Get your hotel together or your wonderful employees will leave. Get them elevators, more help and supplies. No towels at the pool or beach.. walked through the lobby wet. Only 3 bath towels provided in the room. Again there are clearly 5 people on the reservation. Paid extra to include breakfast, was told no, had to press and show that we were entitled to it. All the added issues have ruined our overall experience. Patrice A at the front desk was the sweetest man. I give him all the praises for even keeping us at the resort. Make this right with us and your employees.

Overall, fantastic stay.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

After spending five wonderful days here, we have nothing but great things to say about the Beach House in Fort Lauderdale. Rochelle kindly checked us in two hours early, which we truly appreciated. Every morning at the beach, Jonah greeted us with a smile—he was always friendly, polite, and clearly working hard throughout the day. Alec, at the Le Marche downstairs market, makes excellent coffee, and the selection for breakfast and lunch is fantastic—everything from salads, bakery items, and sweets to drinks, snacks, ice cream, and even personal pizzas. At Ilios, Shakel welcomed us to breakfast each day with a warm smile, and Giuliana was an attentive and wonderful server. The food was consistently delicious. We also spent a morning at the rooftop pool on the 6th floor. Although it was a bit windy, we still enjoyed our time there before heading back to the beach. The staff by the pool were just as kind and welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’re very grateful for the experience.

Exceptional Hospitality

I had a great experience checking in at Hilton Beach House Fort Lauderdale. From the moment I walked up to the front desk, the energy was welcoming and professional, thanks to Patrice. He was super respectful, patient, and genuinely helpful. He didn’t just rush through the process—he took the time to make sure everything was clear, answered all my questions, and made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell when someone actually cares about their job and the guest experience, and that’s exactly the vibe he gave. It set the tone for the entire stay and made a strong first impression. He’s the kind of person you’d want training others or in a leadership role. Definitely the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Respect to the rest of the staff as well—the concierge, valet team, and the gentleman assisting with luggage were all very kind and welcoming. The location is great, right off the beach, and near shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is refreshing—just what you want on vacation. The rooms and lobby were spotless; not a single piece of trash or dirty floor in sight. We weren’t bothered by neighbors, music, or outside noise, which was a big plus. We’ll definitely stay here again whenever we come to Fort Lauderdale. P.S. The only minor drawbacks I noticed were the beach amenities and the gym. On weekends, you need to arrive early to secure a beach chair and umbrella because they fill up fast, and the gym can get crowded in the mornings. Other than that, everything was fantastic—a solid 10/10. Hopefully, it stays that way!

Warm Staff, Clean Rooms, and Honest People - We’ll Be Back

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We decided to break up our Southwest Florida trip by starting in Fort Lauderdale, and the Beach House Hilton was a perfect choice. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff was genuinely warm and accommodating. The room was spotless, and the amenities - pool, dining options - were exactly what we needed. But what really stood out was the staff’s integrity. I didn’t realize until we’d reached Fort Myers that I’d left my AirPods behind. One call to the front desk and they had already found them and offered to hold them for our return trip. That kind of honesty and care is hard to find. We’ll definitely be back - and next time we’re staying longer.

A pleasant suprise

Spent 2 nights in mid March at this property. We initially booked this as it was the most reasonably priced option in the area and we were able to secure roomy accommodations for a family of 4 with a kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, terrace and oceanfront view. This property had some good options to eat including Ilios at the pool level and S3 which we used for both breakfast and a dinner. The pool area was nice and while pool chairs went quickly, there was a team that hustled to make sure everyone was accommodated and they had an eye on people coming and going and unattended chairs. They helped us secure seating for our family for our very short stay. We arrived early (11 am) and had a late flight so we became well acquainted with the bell-team and the concierge, all of whom were pleasant, friendly and went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensure we were able to enjoy the property despite not being checked in/checked out. It was a pleasure dealing with Sasha, Luis, Paul, Nixon and Luigi. The gym was incredible -- updated machines and equipment, nice view of the pool area and ocean, refrigerated towels (something I appreciate), had an attendant, wipes and towels (I'm amazed at how few hotel gyms can boast all this). Only drawback was there's very little room in the weight space and can feel claustrophobic very easily. Other drawbacks, while accommodations were reasonable, food is on the pricier side but of quality. Also, we had one experience where we booked a cabana on the beach with a 3rd party and didn't have towels for 1.5 hours as we were told the hotels hadn't delivered them. With limited time to enjoy the beach, it was inconvenient to have to limit time in the water because we didn't have towels to dry off or use in the cabana.
