Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach. Very nice, clean and welcoming Resort. We had a very nice experience. “Nixon” with Guest Services added an “extra” special experience. He was very cordial, polite and personable. During our three day stay he was always a pleasure to interact with and checked in with us personally inquiring daily about our stay. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. But there were definitely a few issues that popped up during our stay that would prevent us from booking here again. Pros: great location right on the beach, gorgeous spacious rooms with ocean views, cribs and pack & plays available for families, great hotels and bars right on sit, walking distance to some our favorite spots like wine garden and archibalds bakery. Cons: so many sneaky fees and insane waits for elevators! When we went to the beach the only thing included was 2 loungers- we asked for another chair for our son plus an umbrella and they wanted to charge us $50- $30 for the umbrella and $20 for the additional chair. The entire time we were at the beach no one came to check on us and offer drinks or food. When we were by the pool, we had trouble finding a spot with an umbrella (we have a baby so needed shade) and ended up having to just splurge for a cabana ($450!) -l since it was the only way to have shade for our 9 month old. the cabana includes a server which was awesome and she was so attentive. However the following day we didn’t do a cabana and we waited a whole hour before a server came over to ask if we wanted food or drinks. I ended up going inside to the bar and the amazing bartender in there was so kind and took great care of me. He even hand delivered my drink and lunch to the pool! I forget his name but it was the handsome gentleman who worked on Monday afternoon 4/28. Another note- the elevator situation is horrible. Be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes for an available elevator. They prioritize taking guests to their rooftop and make paying hotel guests wait for very long periods of time. This was less than ideal with a baby in tow. Long story short…. Be prepared to shell put additional $$$ for standard 4 star hotel things like shade and poolside servers! We made the most of our trip and had an incredible time but this hotel did absolutely nothing to create customer loyalty and make us want to come back. My advice to them would be to get like 5-6 more poolside servers and figure out the elevator situation.

We had a wonderful 2 day girls weekend. We started with lunch at Ilios by the pool and had the best waitress, Petrone who always made sure we were taken care of that day and the next in the cabana. Restaurant S3 was delicious, make reservations. Next time will check out spa

Great trip to the Hilton. Paul our bellhop is a fantastic guy and was very delightful to lead us to our beautiful ocean front suite. We definitely recommend this place and the rooftop bar is a great spot as well. We will be coming back for sure and look forward to it

I will have to say it was the best experience of any vacation I’ve ever had. The rooms are so spacious beautiful ocean view the staff I have to mention because they were beyond amazing . Luis was exceptional, he made our experience the best. I will definitely go back. He made us feel like we were so special. I’d also like to mention merria, Gabriel, Javan so helpful, Juan, Octavia,Jada was the best server. Anything you asked for was taken care of immediately. I’d also like to say I’ve never been anywhere where the public bathrooms were so clean. Anytime we called room service or needed something. It was in our room within a few minutes. I’d also like to mention Sean the front office manager, who was also very helpful.And Chellna. Also the best night sleep. I’ve had every time I come to the Hilton, the pillows, the bed, the sheets, the comforter I’m going to buy it for my whole entire house. Thank you again everybody for a wonderful wonderful vacation that we will remember forever.
