Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort

Rochelle was great! Got in a bit early from cruise and she did best she could to get us a room a bit earlier. Extremely friendly also!

This was about our 20th stay at this beautiful Hilton property in Fort Lauderdale, and the hotel has gotten better and better each time. The property recently underwent an identity transformation to being named the Beach House by Hilton (formerly the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. General Manager Laurens Zieren has done an amazing job overseeing the transformation of the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort to the current identity as the Beach House. He is assisted by Brian McFarland, the executive hospitality leader who welcomed us with warmth and courtesy. The hotel has undergone some major improvements. The lobby area has been transformed into a bright and colorful welcome space with plenty of comfortable seating and a nifty bar which serves the full range of beverages as well as coffees and pastries. The pool at the Beach House is one of the largest we’ve ever found at a hotel on the east coast, and the water is always pleasantly warm. Pool staff are gracious and attentive. In addition to dozens of lounge chairs surrounding the pool, there are several pleasant cabanas and day beds which can be rented for the day. Food and beverages can be ordered from the Ilios bar and restaurant which is adjacent to the pool. Also adjacent to the pool is a reasonably sized workout gym. Although our grandchildren didn’t join us for this trip, they will be returning with us in March, and the younger kids will be delighted to participate in the kids’ program where the counselors engage them in various fun activities. Hilton Gold members are awarded food & beverage credit which can be used at the bars and Le Marche coffee shop ($15 per person x 2). We used our credits for Starbucks morning coffee & pastries. Although we didn’t dine at the hotel, we enjoyed happy hour specials at some excellent restaurants within a block of the hotel (El Vez and Vitolo). The Sun Surf Sand restaurant which is on the ground floor of the hotel is also very good. Every staff member with whom we interacted at the Beach House demonstrated very high standards of professionalism and hospitality. These individuals were especially gracious to us: front desk staff including Patrice, Jada, & Rochelle; 11th floor housekeepers Monique & Pauletta; Le Marche barista Charlize; Ryan at the pool. In summary, we believe that the Beach House is indeed the very best option for being on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and the suites are amazing. We always book a one-bedroom oceanfront suite which is huge. We have two full bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi tub overlooking the ocean. There’s a full kitchen with seating at a table as well as a granite counter. We love the wraparound balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors with breathtaking views of the ocean. We have already booked a week in March when we have reserved three suites at the Beach House for our kids and grandkids, an annual family tradition that has become a highlight of the year for all of us.

This resort delivers truly top-notch service, which is exactly why we will be coming back. From the moment we arrived until check-out, the staff was attentive, proactive, and genuinely helpful. At arrival, the manager was new and still learning, but Kevan immediately stepped in and handled everything with confidence and a genuine smile. During our stay, Kevan consistently checked in on us, made sure everything was perfect, and went above and beyond—she even gave my kids cookies and milk, which they loved. On our last day, when we had a late flight, she arranged a complimentary late check-out, which made a huge difference for our family. Exceptional service like this is rare. Thank you, Kevan, and the entire Hilton team for an outstanding stay.
