Pelican Grand Beach Resort

We had an excellent experience! The staff is what made it so memorable. Mark greeted us and helped us to get to check in. He was so pleasant and helpful. The welcome from him started it off on great note. John on the beach was just so cheerful and accommodating- Frank got us set up and even in the heat the team was amazing . We will be back !

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff are also very nice, friendly and polite. Valet parking is $62 + tax per night which is extortionate, and leaves a bad ‘I’m being ripped off’ taste in your mouth as soon as you arrive. Everything in the hotel is expensive, from the gift shop to a cup of coffee to a drink by the pool, everything. We asked for an additional splash of milk to add to a coffee, literally nothing, but we were charged $4 for it. GREED. Due to the greed we would not come back to this hotel. I honestly think it is set up to rip customers off. We paid our bill when we checked out, now have been charged, on our credit card an additional unauthorised amount with no explanation why.
