Pelican Grand Beach Resort

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pelican! Every employee we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and spacious which the kids really enjoyed. The lazy river wasn’t available which was a bummer but the staff made it very easy to get set up on the beach and the pool and took great care of us. We will definitely be back again.

My wife and I have been coming to this hotel for 18 years, and we absolutely love it. This year, the lazy river was unfortunately out of service, which was disappointing. However, the incredible service we received from John, the beach server, more than made up for it. John was attentive, upbeat, and genuinely funny. Despite being the only server on the beach all weekend, he never missed a beat; taking orders, delivering waters before we even asked, and bringing our food and drinks promptly, all with an amazing attitude. It was clear that he truly enjoys what he does, and his positivity was contagious. In fact, John provided the best service we’ve ever experienced at this hotel. He turned what could have been a disappointing trip into an enjoyable stay. We sincerely hope he stays, and we’re already looking forward to seeing him again next year.

Exceptional atmosphere and impecable service. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is clean and updated with attention to detail and comfort. Incredible dining options, fresh and healthy food with lots of gluten free options. Try the blackened mahi sandwich on gf bread for lunch at the pool bar or try the Mojo arepa Benedict for breakfast. Lovely gelato is also available. The beach is tremendous with easy access, offering a perfect floating and relaxing in the ocean spot. The waves were small and slow rolling, great for everyone. Soft sand and gorgeous views abound! Beach activities include paid experiences for snorkeling, riding an air foil and more. The hotel swimming pool offers a non-beach option for tanning and swimming too. A tremendous hotel experience.

Wow. What a wonderful and relaxing stay. We can not wait to come again. Giovanna and Kameron were the best!! Staff was all so sweet and lovely views

All staff at the pelican grand is awesome. Personable. Helpful. And overall just really great. John at the beach. Kameron at the pool and giovana at the pool were exceptional! Had a great stay.
