Pelican Grand Beach Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Grand. Absolutely love the location, on site restaurants and amenities. Above all is the experience on the beach with the wonderful staff that take care of you all day long, ensuring a relaxing day (thank you Jean and Jeff)! I only gave four stars instead of five for this stay in particular because the resort seemed to be full of families with some children screaming while dining and that for us as a couple is not enjoyable on a relaxing weekend away (we also encountered many happy and polite children). The restaurant Ocean2000, has a great menu. It is expensive, but the food is so well prepared and just delicious - worth the cost. The staff members all work together and make sure all water glasses are full and tables are cleared of empty dishes at all times. They are really hard working and very professional, yet friendly at the same time! Overall, we had a great weekend and we will be returning to Pelican Grand for another stay in 2027 :)

Great trip as always Alexa, John and Donte were great. Fast chair and umbrellas service, as well as drinks and food on what feels like our own private beach! Love Pelican.

Extremely disappointed in this hotel. We booked a king suite 5 months in advance for spring break only to be told that our room was not available upon checkin and a Queen suite is the same price so we shouldn’t worry. Our family of 5 does not fit into Queen beds. The reservation was booked 5 months in advance and we even called earlier in the day to confirm our 4pm check in. No one mentioned our room would not be available. The manager was not helpful and we could not be more frustrated at this experience. What was supposed to be a relaxing luxurious beach vacation has turned into sleepless nights and crabby kids all day. We are actively looking for other hotels to stay at instead of the Pelican Grand. The views and beach are great which is such a shame that the service was terrible and we were treated as if we were interrupting their day. I highly recommend staying elsewhere.

Had an amazing stay with MY husband before our cruise stayed here 3 days. Perfect start to vacation. We stayed in W last year and we WAY prefer Pelican Grand - private beach, incredible staff, and great food. The rooms aren't new, but we liked the quaint feeling and the quality of food and customer service surpassed the newer hotels by FAR. The beach and ease of everything here was just what we had been hoping for. Also again, ate 5 times at the restaurant- GREAT food.

Great location but our experience could have been better. Make sure you ask about how loud the rooms can be, since we heard our neighbors every night and early mornings. Also avoid staying on the floor with a wedding (again more noise). And expect to take your luggage up on your own.
