Pier Sixty-Six

Wow! We found our new must-stay south Florida hotel…it literally leaves our other favorite luxury hotels/residences in the dust! We made a last minute reservation after the Ritz in Bal Harbour and in Fort Lauderdale were full. We were familiar with Pier 66 as it has a new and very nice marina but had never needed to get out of our normal routines when staying in the area. The difference was obvious from the moment we pulled up. The valet attendants were experienced in high end service and went out of their way to ensure we were welcomed and well cared for…the hotel was very busy and we had to wait for the check in of a few other people but were given refreshments that made the wait worth the wait :-). Chris, however, at the front desk, is the reason we will now be regular guests. The hotel did not have a room immediately available. He explained the situation, and then managed to secure an upgraded room for us. He went out of his way to ensure that our stay would be top quality and that we would not have a delay in getting to our room. This type of unerring customer focus makes all the difference to my husband and I. We travel all over the world staying at luxury and ultra luxury properties and this was right up with the best of the best. We ate dinner on property and received the same level of service and experience. From beginning to end this was a fabulous unexpected stay and, as I said before, this will be our new go to hotel when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Stayed here for a football game at Miami Gardens. Everything, from the valet staff to the front desk to the rooms were top-notch ... just perfectly appointed and simply unassailable. Would spend as much time here as my calendar and budget allowed.

We went for our birthdays and loved every minute. The staff were so friendly and helpful and guest services were top notch. Calusso restaurant was superb so we went two nights. The accommodations were luxurious and no detail overlooked. We will definitely return.

Beautifully situated just moments from the heart of downtown yet away from the hustle and bustle, the hotel offers the perfect balance of location and tranquility. From the moment the reservation was made through to checkout, every team member was exceptional — attentive, professional, and consistently going the extra mile. I typically gravitate toward large luxury brands, but this stay truly changed my perspective. Going forward, whenever anyone visits Fort Lauderdale, my only recommendation will be Pier Sixty-Six.

This resort is first class in every aspect,!but the enthusiasm of their staff and they’re carrying attitude make a difference. Great location on the intercostal with lot of boats and things to do.
