Pier Sixty-Six

We recently stayed at Pier Sixty-Six and overall, we truly loved the hotel. I wanted to book a fun little weekend get away with my best friend and our daughters and it was the perfect choice. We stayed in the Harbour villa suites and the room was absolutely beautiful. Our kids had the best time especially with all the fun activities offered during Easter weekend. The staff across the entire hotel were genuinely kind. I’ve honestly never experienced a team where everyone was so consistently friendly. It really stood out. We did have a few bumpy moments at the start, and if it wasn’t for Alex McMillen from the Guest Experience team, my review would have looked a little different. Vishnu, the Assistant Director, was also very helpful and supportive throughout. Alex was truly amazing, so professional, attentive, and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay wasn’t just fixed, but turned into such a fun and memorable experience. He made us feel so taken care of, and honestly, he’s the reason we’ll be coming back. We can’t thank him enough. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in what he does. He’s a true asset to the hotel. Thank you Alex! We also have to mention Gabby at the spa — we absolutely loved her! She was so warm and welcoming, and made the best limoncello’s. She made our spa experience even more special. And a big thank you to Trevor, our poolside server. We had so much fun with him! He was great and completed the whole vibe to our pool day. Looking forward to booking pier sixty-six on my next trip back to Fort Lauderdale!

I recently stayed at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina and had a great experience. The property is beautiful and the marina/property views really are special. I enjoyed a couple of meals on-site and the gym was well-equipped and easy to access. One of my favorite parts was just walking along the marina in the mornings. Overall, a really relaxing stay and I’d highly recommend.

Alex McMillen is exactly what every concierge in the hospitality industry should strive to be. As someone who grew up in the mecca of Las Vegas and has spent years as a senior hospitality executive, I know what true five-star service looks like—and Alex delivers it effortlessly. From the moment we arrived, Alex understood the mission. He curated an unforgettable experience for my daughter and me, including arranging a seamless surf boat expedition, providing spot-on breakfast and dinner recommendations, and guiding us through the best activities and nightlife—including the top experience at Pier 66. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care set the tone for an exceptional stay. The spa experience was equally outstanding. Gigi is the definition of a five-star ambassador. She ensured every detail of our visit was perfect, from scheduling to follow-ups. Gigi’s communication was gracious, polished, and thoughtful, and she went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a flawless experience. Even when Gigi had to follow up on timing, she did so with kindness and professionalism. Gigi truly understands customer service, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. The excellence didn’t stop there. The bell service and front desk teams were consistently polished and welcoming. Chef Michael at Sotogrande is exceptional—a true five-star, five-diamond talent. Not only was the cuisine world-class, but he took the time to come out and speak Italian with my daughter, who studied abroad in Italy. That personal touch meant more than words can express. He made us feel special, valued, and at home. What stood out most about Pier 66 is how every team member contributes to the experience—from the cocktail waitress at the pool to the gracious turndown staff. The Hotel was recently transformed in 2025 into an aspiring five-star hotel. From the sense of arrival to check in the Pier team used my name and the staff is warm and friendly. Upon arrival they offered Water or a signature cocktail, and a server brought it out on a tray while we were checking into the Hotel. One of the guest concierges, "Murphy" was a delightful surprise as she escorted you to your room and along the way she described the unique features of the hotel and things to do while we were here. The architecture and vibe conveyed a relaxed, yet sophisticated sense of service and atmosphere. The guest rooms are colorfully designed, super clean and spacious with the largest balconies I have seen in similar properties. Beyond the lobby and guest rooms are several restaurants’ names Salt Breeze ( ask for Brittney to service , she is outstanding) by the expansive Pool overlooking the Pier Sixty - Six marina loaded with super yachts. Calusso and Sotagrande have waterfront patios overlooking the marina as well which is very entertaining. Sotagrande is influenced by Spanish and Mediterranean sharable dishing in casual environment. Try the catch of the day with roasted veggies and their special sauce, you will not be disappointed. Calusso was more formal and featured French and Italian Riviera dishes that were simply amazing. The food, service and cocktail choice make these restaurants and local favorite for any occasion. For breakfast we eat in Garni Cafe' , and French design getaway which made us feel like we were eating in a forest . They are known for their signature brunch and we had the amazing buffet with cooked to order omelette cooked your way. The buffet was not over done with large portions and too many choices. Instead, tasteful portions with French pastries. Try the chocolate muffins. Overall, my stay at the hotel was a delightful surprise. I just felt happier, healthier and refined being there, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an elevated, pleasant and effortless escape or business trip.

Pier Sixty-Six is a luxury destination for anyone who enjoys the finer things in life. Make no mistake, it is their detail oriented, highly trained staff that will curate and deliver an experience and memories that will last a lifetime!!!
