My husband and I had such a wonderful beach day experience while at the W Hotel! It was a five star experience all around. We were so well taken care of by everyone from the moment we got here to the moment we left. Ritchard took care of us and made sure our our experience was excellent and it truly was! He made sure we had great drinks, great food, and great experience you really can’t ask for more!

My daughter lives in Fort Lauderdale, so I travel here several times a year and have stayed at many resorts in the area over the years. The W has always been in my top three favorites, but this visit made it even more special. This resort is unlike anything else nearby! The trendy, high‑end design gives it such a unique feel, and the bougie vibe made the stay really fun. On the day we were supposed to arrive, we had an unexpected family emergency. I ended up calling the hotel from the ER and spoke with the hotel manager, Jason Ellis. During a very stressful situation, he immediately put me at ease and went above and beyond to help me reschedule our stay multiple times until we were finally able to make the trip. What truly made this stay special was the exceptional service. When we arrived, the experience only got better. Everyone at the resort—from the bellhop to the front desk staff to the waitstaff—was welcoming and genuinely attentive and made us feel incredibly well taken care of. The sangria at check-in was a delicious and thoughtful touch. Our room exceeded our expectations. We had two separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a full-size living room and kitchen, and a beautiful view of both the ocean and the Intracoastal. A special thank you again to Jason Ellis for his kindness and outstanding service. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our trip still happened and made it extra special once we arrived. Jason Ellis is a true asset to this property, and I hope the hotel recognizes what an exceptional job he does. We travel to Fort Lauderdale several times a year to visit family, and this will absolutely be our go-to resort from now on. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale. I will definitely return and strongly recommend it to anyone searching for a wonderful place to stay.

Every year we come to the W for much needed winter R & R. We love it here! The location cannot be beat right across the street from the beach and their own section of chairs and umbrellas. And walking distance to all types restaurants and not too far from the Las Olas scene. The oceanfront rooms give a beautiful view of the beach and relaxing on the patios/balconies is so great. If you don’t want to use the beach the pool (temporarily under repair) is large and many chair options. The common area just got a multi million dollar renovation with room renovations to come in future. Everyone that we have interacted with at the hotel- front desk (Patel) , maids, valet, restaurant staff were always smiling and so gracious and accommodating to any of our needs. I’d like to point out the leadership of Raul Lopez who is in charge of Guest Experience. He is amazing in assisting guests in any way he can. Example: My phone cable broke and he lent me his own personal cable!!! He is a star! Looking forward to next years visit 😎

The W was in a good location, although crowded and much traffic. The W-east pool has been closed for repairs for over a week. All of the guests from the hotel pool were told to use the pool in the residence. This has resulted in the pool in the residence being extremely overcrowded. We have not been able to get chairs on a few occasions and were unable to use the hot tub on several occasions. We were also unable to get an umbrella on the beach on 2 occasions as it has been extremely busy.The elevator in our tower has been out of service resulting in long wait times. We had to carry our groceries up 5 flights. We discussed these issues with the manager and he did not offer any compensation, nor did the owner of condo. Other issues: The hot tub in condo was never fixed. The lighting in the kitchen remains inadequate . The stove burners did not work properly,
