Juan, Richard, and Sergio were amazing. They provided a great experience at the beach. They were very friendly and welcoming. Available at all times to anything we needed. A 20/10 experience, from the service to the food. Truly an amazing time, 100% recommend!

Horrible experience. We rented several rooms here with friends to enjoy the long weekend (Labor Day) and spoke to several representatives at the hotel. At no point was it mentioned that the main FUN pool is closed. So they are offering us to go to the resident side which is a trek. Super inconvenient and as I said was never mentioned through many calls with the hotel. Additionally we paid for ocean view and they didn’t have any available since they were already all given. Also now mentioned during booking. Raul was the manager in charge during this visit.

We are here now and were going to spend an extra night but it’s been a pretty disappointing experience compared to what was expected. If you look at the photos they show a posh looking outdoor pool and space ( from the Marriott app and website) but in reality there is just a small pool with some very dated and crowded sun chairs. The bar is non existent and to top it off they close the pool deck at 7pm, well before dusk which is what it shows on the pool rules sign. Even worse you pay an additional $60 per day resort fee which is supposed to get you towels, beach chairs, bikes etc. But there is no towels at the pool area, the beach you can only get chairs etc if it’s before 5:00pm and the bar with happy hour drinks etc doesn’t seem to exist or is done before check in. So if you are staying only 1 night don’t count on being able to get any of the benefits of the resort fee. As other mentioned also it’s extremely difficult to get around the hotel. Nothing is clear and doors at the front don’t work at all. You have to go significantly out of your way to make it anywhere in the hotel such as the check in desk on the 4th floor and the small pool deck a signifiant ways away. The rooms are also a bit dated and in need of some maintenance, you do get a robe in room but you have to fight over it if there is more than 1 adult in the room.
